As recent American presidents have made it a ritual of holding office to grovel before the annual Washington meeting of the extremist right-wing Israeli lobby group, AIPAC - American Israel Public Affairs Committee -- it is noteworthy that American presidents have not always catered to the every whim of groups espousing Zionist causes. Recently, President Obama made his pilgrimage to the AIPAC conference and was obligated to host visiting Israeli President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the White House.

One such president was Franklin D. Roosevelt, elected to office four times by the American people. On October 6, 1943, a group of hard-line Orthodox Jewish Zionists marched in Washington, DC to demand that President Roosevelt take immediate military action to save Europe's remaining Jews with a view to facilitating their safe passage to Palestine. The group was led by Irgun terrorists who were battling British troops as early as the 1930s for control of Palestine. The leader of the Irgun members was Rabbi Hillel Kook who used the pseudonym Peter Bergson. Eventually, the radical Irgun-led predecessor of AIPAC became known as the Bergson Group or "Bergsonites."

As the Bergson protesters, including Kook and Rabbi Charles Kahane, father of later right-wing Jewish zealot Rabbi Meir Kahane, approached the White House, Roosevelt snuck out of the residence through a back door, and after attending a military ceremony, left for a weekend stay in the country. FDR understood that any support for the Jewish zealots' demand that war priorities be altered to free inmates from concentration camps and, more importantly, facilitating the arrival of Jewish refugees in Palestine would alienate America's major allies, including Britain. FDR's policy was to never meet with the activist proponents of a Jewish state in Palestine. The job of talking to the Jewish radicals was left to Vice President Henry A. Wallace, who was also not keen on meeting with the group although he personally favored the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine.

One of the Bergson Group's major supporters was Baltimore Mayor Thomas D'Alessandro, the father of current House Minority leader and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi is one of the strongest supporters of AIPAC in Congress.

In 1944, Wallace was replaced on the ticket for vice president by Harry S Truman, who would eventually support the creation of Israel. Wallace, who became President Truman's Commerce Secretary stated that Truman was personally exasperated by the Zionist lobby. According to Wallace, Truman said of Jewish supporters for Israel's creation, "Jesus Christ couldn't please them when he was here on earth, so how can anyone expect that I would have any luck?" Truman was swayed into support for Israel by his former business partner Eddie Jacobson.

However, for FDR, there was no compromising on the issue of a Zionist state in Palestine. Roosevelt had crafted a strategic petroleum relationship with Saudi Arabia and he did not want to do anything that would jeopardize the U.S.-British alliance. FDR';s special envoy to the Middle East, General Patrick Hurley, was reportedly in agreement with Saudi King Ibn Saud that Jews had to be driven from Arab lands in Palestine that they had occupied.

When details of Hurley's conversations with the Saudi King were leaked to Drew Pearson, who published them in his column, FDR came to Hurley's defense in a letter dated August 30, 1943:

There is historical evidence that strongly suggests that Israeli intelligence was involved in assassination plots against Truman, John F. Kennedy (for JFK's strident opposition to Israel's acquisition of nuclear weapons), Richard Nixon (and Defense Secretary Melvin Laird and Secretary of State William Rogers), and George H. W. Bush.

However, little has been written about a possible successful Zionist plot to assassinate FDR. In 1948, a right-wing Jew named Emanuel Josephson, who made it a life's work to attack Roosevelt, wrote a book called "The Strange Death of Franklin D. Roosevelt." Josephson was a career Roosevelt-hater, who was similar to those who made a career later from Bill Clinton hating.

Josephson contends that FDR was assassinated in Warm Springs, Georgia. However, Josephson craftily suggests that Winston Churchill had been poisoned by Joseph Stalin's agents while attending the Tehran Conference in 1943, FDR fell victim to poisoni9ng at the Yalta Conference in February 1945. After Tehran, Churchill eventually recovered from his illness recovered in Cairo, according to Josephson, but FDR became increasingly ill as the result of similar poisoning in Yalta. Josephson points out that on his return from Yalta, FDR's de facto chief of staff, Major General Edwin "Pa" Watson, died of a cerebral hemorrhage at sea, suggesting it was Stalin's doing.

A cerebral hemorrhage was also the official cause of Roosevelt's death in Warm Springs on April 12, 1945. According to Josephson, FDR's personal physician, Admiral Ross McIntyre, said FDR's body was not embalmed but in less than four hours after his desth, FDR's body had turned black, a reaction from arsenic poisioning. There were also reports that there was a disfiguring bullet wound to FDR's head and powder burns and that a small silver pistol was found near his body.

With so much doubt about the cause of FDR's sudden death, an autopsy would have cleared up any controversy. However, as noted in the official State of Georgia death certificate issued on April 18, 1945, no autopsy on FDR's body was ever performed. Yet, the cause of death is listed as "cerebral hemorrhage" with the contributing factor of "arteriosclerosis." Roosevelt's coffin was never opened for public viewing in Washington or during the funeral service. However, Elmer Davis, the head of the Office of War Information, broadcast to U.S. troops around the world that FDR's body was laying in state at the White House and viewed by throngs of mourners. Davis, who had been a CBS Radio newsman before the war, later became an ardent critic of the U.S. right-wing, particularly Senator Joseph McCarthy.

Perhaps Stalin, smelling a rat and a conspiracy to blame the Soviet Union for FDR's death (the same theory would be used later when there was a suggestion that JFK's death was the result of a Cuban and Soviet plot), ordered the Soviet ambassador in Washington to demand that FDR's casket be opened so that he could view the body. White House authorities turned down the ambassador's request.

Although Truman reluctantly supported the U.S. recognition of Israel over the storng objections of Secretary of State George Marshall and Defense Secretary James Forrestal, after Truman's capitulation, the Anti-Defamation League became stronger as a lobby for Zionist and Israeli causes. Originally influential with the New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania congressional delegation, the Israel Lobby expanded to control a staggering number of members of Congress, as well as Presidents of the United States since George H. W. Bush. Truman's reversal of FDR's policy on the nascent Israel was as stark as Lyndon B. Johnson's reversal of JFK's policy on Israel obtaining nuclear weapons. It now appears that FDR and JFK share something in common: assassination to make way for administrations more committed to the Zionist cause.

In WMR's March 8, 2012 report, little-known details about President Franklin D. Roosevelt's sudden death in 1945 were described, along with a possible Zionist plot against the anti-creation of Israel FDR to insert Harry S Truman into the Oval Office.

Bethesda Naval Hospital, which, 22 years later would "lose" the brain of President John F. Kennedy after his assassination in Dallas, also "lost" the medical records of FDR. A Nevada surgeon named Harry Goldsmith has been on an over 20 year quest to discover what happened to FDR's medical records. Goldsmith revealed that 48 hours after Roosevelt's death in Warm Springs, Georgia, for which no autopsy was performed, FDR's medical records, which were locked in a secure safe at Bethesda, turned up missing. Only three people had access to the safe: Bethesda's commanding officer and executive officer, and Admiral Ross McIntire, FDR's physician and, as Chief of the Naval Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, the supervisor of the two Bethesda officers. McIntire, who was present with Roosevelt in Warm Springs, is suspected of removing the medical records at Bethesda.

I'm not sure of the claims made in the Nazi Hydra - I have read it - but I do confess to thinking that FDR may have been murdered.

But if true, why?

[size=12]The World War II Cairo conference between Pres. Roosevelt, Prime Minister Churchill, and Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek ended on Oct. 26, 1943. That evening I was given orders to fly a group of participants from Cairo to Tehran. Up to that time, I had not been aware that there was going to be a Big Four meeting of the Super-Powers in Tehran.

As I went out to the plane that morning to get it ready to go, two limousines came from the city. They were T. V. Soong's Chinese delegates. I flew them to Tehran that day.

En route, I stopped at Habbaniyah in Iraq for refueling, and while on the ground an Air Force B-25 arrived with an old friend of mine flying it, and with L. Col. Elliott Roosevelt, the President's son. I introduced him and Roosevelt to the Chinese, and vice versa.

I don't know whether any of you ever realized this, but years later the fact that Elliott Roosevelt had gone to the Tehran conference brought up one of the most amazing untold facts in our history. I can only imagine why more had not been written about it.

Because Elliott had met Stalin in Tehran with his father in 1943, in late 1946, Gardner Cowless, publisher of LOOK magazine asked him to go to Moscow to interview Stalin.

Roosevelt accepted this offer and did interview Stalin there. At the end of a long interview, he turned to the Generalissimo and asked one more question, "Why is it that my mother has never been permitted to visit Moscow even though she has made three very formal applications for the trip?"

Stalin glared at Elliott and said, "You don't know why?"

Elliott replied, "No!"

Quickly, Stalin responded, "Don't you know who killed your father?"

Roosevelt-shocked-answered, "No."

Stalin rising from his chair, continued, "Well, I'll tell you why I have not invited her here. As soon as your father died, I asked my ambassador in Washington to go immediately to Georgia with a request to view the body." Stalin believed that if Gromyko could see the body he would confirm that the cerebral hemorrhage that had caused his death had caused extensive discoloration and distortion.

Elliot responded that he knew nothing about that and then Stalin said, "Your mother refused to permit the lid of the coffin to be opened so that my ambassador could see the body." Adding "I sent him there three times trying to impress upon your mother that it was very important for him to view the President's body. She never accepted that. I have never forgiven her."

This forced Elliott to ask this last question, "…but why?"

Stalin took a few steps around the office, and almost in a rage roared, "They poisoned your father, of course, just as they have tried repeatedly to poison me."

"They, who are they," Elliot asked

"The Churchill gang!" Stalin roared, "They poisoned your father, and they continue to try to poison me…the Churchill gang!"

I had heard, while in Tehran, that Roosevelt and Churchill had had a strenuous argument in front of Stalin and Chiang during the conference on the subject of decolonialization of South East Asia. I have read it in a government publication of the time. Then, this account of Elliott's visit to Moscow in 1946 was written and signed by him and appeared in the February 9, 1986 issue of the nationwide Sunday Supplement magazine "PARADE."

We all know that there are amazing stories that can not be found in the history books. That is what I am saying here. Most students have not been able to learn that Chiang Kai-shek was a member of this Four Power Conference in Tehran. But, I was there. I had flown the Chinese delegates there from Cairo, and I have read it in a Congressional Committee Report, "The U. S. Government and the Vietnam" Part 1-1945-1951" by the U. S. Government Printing Office, 1984.

Both sources have been in the public domain for more than 10 years. Why haven't we seen them, on campus, in the History books and in classes?

In 1953, in a toast before the New York Press Club, John Swinton, former Chief of Staff of the New York Times and the "Dean of his Profession" stated: (part extracted)

"If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of journalists is to destroy the truth; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell this country and this race for their daily bread. From my own experience, I know that there are countless journalists who could say that. Just consider what they said about Oliver Stone's Film "JFK" and about my own book "JFK, the CIA, Vietnam and the Plot to Assassinate John F. Kennedy."```

I have no idea if Stalin's claims are true. But I am aware that FDR tried to write Churchill out of the post war world at the Tehran Conference, when he chummed up with Stalin and ignored Churchill. But I suspect the claim may not be true. My suspicions would point to domestic power elements seeking to shape the post WWII world in an anti-communism cloak.

FDR was very ill and weak at that point - so an 'artificial death' wouldn't raise many eyebrows or suspicion. From my reading over the years, it seems while he might have died in a few months to a few years, he was murdered. I'm also inclined to think that it might well have been the Dulles (and friends) cabal over the Israelis or their lobby.......there is little hard evidence I know of to go on....only many suspicious events, some of which were mentioned above. The Bankster crowd had long hated with a purple passion FDR, and even tried to hire Col. Smedley Butler to stage a Coup d'etat against FDR. I strongly suggest people read up on what Butler wrote about it and who was behind it...it reads like a who's who of the Bankster and Reichwing Corporate world in the USA at the time.
