I was wrong. The garbage has not been taken down.
And Gary "Mack" Dunkel visited the page today, which means that he, Burton, and "Colby" remain ... concerned about my welfare.
Finally -- and Peter Lemkin will find this fact truly disturbing -- try clicking on my Topics and Posts links. Even though the page acknowledges that I made 1,618 posts, you now cannot find a single one.
Nope they haven't quite rooted you (either that or they forgot) that you can click the 'Find Content' button on the right side just above 'user tools' and all of CD's threads CD was involved in will pop up. I used the facility a number of times today going back and forth finding out more about the bollocks. I might talk to Jim about doing a CTKA article on the incident and the feud...any takers? This has gotten bloody ludicrous.
Well, if anyone does write an article on this feud, I hope they'll also look into what happened to me and others, as well. Charles, wouldn't surprise me that they deleted some or most of your posts.... Can you re-edit your bio - or have they blocked your access to it?

Charles,
Evan Burton has admitted doing it. He appears to have become exasperated with the remarks and insinuations about him on this forum. He assures us he will remove it.
Just thought you'd want to know.

Just thought you'd want to know. Thank you Don for letting Charles know. We know the mods who have class over there and those who don't.

Don,
Where does one find this admission?

Charles,
He admitted it in an email to the moderators. Kathy and I had both raised the issue, and I had noted that I didn't think anyone would ever acknowledge doing it. He said it was okay to let the forum members here know, so I did. I thought you had a right to know.

It gets better.
The EF's resident idiot savant hyphenate, Robert Charles-Dunne, has checked in there from on high to Solomon-ize on this "contretemps."
I shouldn't be surprised by Burton's churlishness, teaches RC-D, insofar as I have used "DPF as a soapbox to continually denounce Walker and Burton (and others here) for past sins, real and imagined."
Next, RC-D characterizes me as a "bully" who cannot take what I dish out, and then pronounces that Burton and I are "two individuals who through mutual antipathy cannot resist proving who is the bigger idiot."
Lastly, in a typical burst of precognitive grandiloquence, RC-D offers this little gem: "Cue the usual complaints about 'false equivalence.'"
I'll address this persiflage simply by noting that:
1. Sinners deserve denunciations.
2. My denunciations of Walker, Burton, and others at EF for "imagined" sins exist only in RC-D's imagination.
3. To imply (falsely) equivalence between my many exposés of EF-condoned and published disinformation as generated by the agents provocateur who are given free rein to frequent The Swamp with Burton's schoolyard taunts is, in a word, idiotic. Adding insult to injury, RC-D then makes ineffective, tediously ham-fisted use of an old rhetorical trick -- prevent the issuing of an argument-winning response by sarcastically predicting that it will be forthcoming.
4. I do not suffer the judgments of fools. Rather, my point in exposing Burton's stupidity is this: The EF is an asylum being run by inmates who in turn serve at the pleasure and the whim of the very individuals and institutions RC-D would have us believe he opposes.
I can't resist this: Some readers may recall the episode of the American sitcom Seinfeld in which the character Elaine is wildly impressed by a video store clerk with whom she regularly chats via telephone but has yet to meet in the flesh. As it turns out, the object of her idolatry is a pimple-faced teenager devoid of substance yet blessed with a deep, seductive voice.
False equivalence, RC-D?

Yes this whole deletion of posts is very worrying. The manner with which so many people here on the DPF were forced out was equally troubling. I think you may have mentioned to me in passing Peter what happened. I'm not sure if I came across it here either. But it seemed there was a lot of stuff going on. Irregardless, from what I do know I don't think the whole thing was not handled very well at all. I understand you were a mod at one point? What I found bizarre was the deletion of posts and then the counter claims that people here were being paranoid etc. The exact same thing happened to me on the Dem Underground forum. Democratic that place ain't sheeesh posts would go missing, trolls bashed people with impunity breaking all forum rules, complaints were ignored. What's interesting is that by all accounts the Ed Forum appears to have started out well enough. But it progressively turned. I don't think my exploring this incident would do any good in hindsight but I have to say cheers to Don for informing us all of the events.

Yes thank you Don. He had my vote as I really do not think Andy is around there these days and I was quite positive John would not do a thing like that.
In fact I am willing to bet that John, and other mods, demanded that it be fixed.
