I am halfway through a re-work of an essay on James Powell, and hope to have that ready in a couple weeks.

Since the late nineties, I have always thought that the Congo was a very important piece of history in the Kennedy case and also in the turning of Third World policy after JFK.

Like everything in the JFK field, it was ignored, for the simple reason that all anyone wanted to talk about was Cuba and Vietnam.

The more I read, the more I thought this was short sighted. There were three murders that took place which ended up reversing Kennedy's policies there and putting an imperial strong man in charge who was the opposite of what JFK and Hammarskjold wanted.

Finally, someone has made a documentary on this, and if you click through this article, a very important revelation has surfaced. Kennedy's ambassador to Congo, the visionary Edmund Gullion, suspected that Hammarskjold's plane was sabotaged the night it happened!

We had to wait fifty years to learn this! Dag Hammarskjold was murdered, plain and simple. And it was over Congo. JFK admired Dag and tried to pick up where he left off and look what happened to him.

Just wondering if people have any recommendations on RFK asssassination resources such as books, videos, or websites? I see a rather expensive DVD called RFK Must Die directed by Shane O'Sullivan. Books I have seen include Shadow Play authored by William Klaber and Philip Melanson, The Assassination of Robert F Kennedy by William Turner and John Christian, and the more recent A Lie Too Big to Fail by Lisa Pease. So far I have been pretty surprised by the lack of podcasts and You Tube videos

I called in Thom Hartmann's radio program and spoke about the RFK assassination. I give Thom for at least taking the call and advocating for a new investigation, but his question to me was whether I had heard about Thane Cesar having had Mafia connections. I said I had not. It just seems odd Thom wants to give this a Mafia spin rather than any mention of the CIA.

I just got this book a little over two weeks ago. I can't put it down. Lisa totally NAILS it. More relevant info about RFK's assassination than you ever knew about before.

There is a story about 9/11 documents being hacked that has been reported in the media this week. It involves blackmail and extortion of rare 9/11 documents. A FORBES variant of the story is here.

An April 2018 hacking story involved insurance companies being affected. This is the original report of that hacking from earlier last year.

Remarkably, Larry Silverstein's entire legal document archive for his WTC insurance claim and legal proceedings were included in the document haul that was stolen by the hackers. Silverstein's lawyers had access during their legal proceedings to numerous FAA, FBI, CIA, and general government documents that were never intended to be released to the public. The documents were supposed to have been destroyed or deleted at the close of legal proceedings, but were not. The hackers - a mercenary group openly seeking payment - have now ransomed all those documents. There are 9GB of files. Their early ransom notes have been directed at the US government and airlines, where they announced that an uncensored release of all files would cause a lot of damage. Concurrently, they are also letting the public pay money to encourage further releases.

The hackers have spent the time since April examining all the documents they stole. They say that many 9/11 conspiracy questions will be answered by the documents in their totality. They have divided up the files into five folders - in increasing order of scandal and damage to the official story - and say that they will release new documents from the haul upon receipt of Bitcoin. They have received more than $20,000 from private donors already, and have released a large number of documents in response. They want much more money, and will probably get at least some of that.

The first folder, lowest tier, was previewed in segments. It has now been released in its entirety. They have now released documents from the second tier, and a preview release two days ago reportedly has individual documents from all five folders.

The full 9GB document haul has been uploaded to torrent sites. It is heavily encrypted. As they receive money they are releasing keys to parts of it. Obviously, it would be preferable if they released the documents outright. Anonymous, the other famous hacking group, implored them on Twitter to release all documents. They have not done so yet. They want money.

Reddit and Twitter are deleting links to the files that have been released to date. There are numerous threads on the front page of Reddit Conspiracy discussing the deletions.

I have seen numerous documents already. There are multiple new sources of information that will be of interest to the members of this board.

Jersey Girl Kristen Breitweiser has asked the hackers on Twitter to release all documents.

I strongly advise everyone to buy the 'zine because it features writers who are counter to the MSM and now writing for a national magazine: people like Jim Hougan, Doug Horne, Bill Davy, Joe Greene, Lisa Pease, and myself. This is a 'zine that features an article about Jim Garrison by Bill Davy. That has the famous photo of JFK getting the news of Lumumba's death on the cover, which demonstrates a lot about why he was killed.

Its pretty clear to me, as it was many years ago, that the so called liberal blogosphere was not going to fulfill the promise that it held at one time. If you recall after Jeb Bush stole the 2000 election for his brother, cyberspace began to explode and the circulation for The Nation tripled. Well, the cyberspace blogosphere ended up being dominated by Marcos Moulitsas, Arianna Huffington, and Jonathan Marshall. All who turned out to be not very much different than the MSM. Like the MSM they would not approach the taboo subjects like CIA drug running and the assassinations.

Deep Truth Journal will do so. Its pretty obvious that we need to create our own media. So do what you can to support it. This may be a real chance to put something out there like Ramparts.
