Given his busy schedule (holding the Warren Commission apologists to a higher-standard), it's more and likely, the OP simply meant to write "through and through", which is essentially thorough, but like the rest of the human race--from time to time, our mind processes thoughts before our hands get the memo. Given the author's assertion in his book that Mr. Oswald was in Washington, D.C. in early October, 1963 lurking in the shadows, that date presents several challenges, not the least of which is around this same time he was also refiling for unemployment benefits in Austin, Texas. Will have to double back here next week with more detailed specifics, but I'm sure I read somewhere he was concerned about his unemployment benefits, $33, running out on 8 October 63.
