I agree with you on all counts. The technology is there, but those there don't understand the technology. I think John G. is in Ireland.
I have been totally disapointed in the Dallas conferences the past few years, and have been trying to organize one in DC for some time now. Not one addressed to researchers, but one addressed to the Congressmen who have to be convinced to conduct JFK Act oversight hearings, and Justice Dept. attorneys who can open a federal grand jury to investigate the destruction, theft and missing records, as well as other crimes connected to the assassination, like perjury, homicide and conspiracy.
I have been hearing the same things over and over again for the most part for the past few years (except from Peter Dale Scott and Bill Simpich and a few others).
In any case, I am trying to organize a symposium in DC for next spring, after the Hawaii conclave.
And we will try to arrange for it to be live fed over the intenet and for the technology to be put into place before the event.

I attempter to watch online and had the same frustrations. I think it went well last year as John G. was there and handled it beautifully. I was there in person as well.
Bill I think having something in DC is a great idea IF we can get Senators and Congressmen to attend and learn. Also there is still the HSCA mandate that the Justice Dept follow up. (I wondered why that never occurred under Clinton.)
