BELKNAP, JERRY BOYD, a.w. (prelude); Dallas Morning News employee. Fifteen minutes before the motorcade passed through Dealey Plaza, a very strange thing happened in front of the TSBD. Belknap, dressed in army fatigues, had an apparent epileptic seizure that managed to draw everybody's attention. Because of the timing, the seizure resembles a diversion, to keep witnesses from noticing other things that might have been going on in the vicinity. Belknap later claimed to have had a history of seizures since childhood. He was picked up in Dealey Plaza by an ambulance, taken to Parkland Hospital's emergency area and was subsequently forgotten because of the mass hysteria and confusion caused by the arrival of JFK and Governor Connally. Without saying anything to anyone, Belknap left Parkland and took a bus back to downtown Dallas.

Bernice, your listing of "radio anomalies" is a treasure trove of clues to conspiracy.
Aubrey Rike relating the run to pickup Belknap reminds me of the trick basketball play called the Barking Dog, wherein one team member runs to the edge of the court, drops down on all fours and barks like a dog; in the ensuing confusion, another team member scores against his distracted defenders.
Misdirection is the stage magician's stock-in-trade, and Dallas was nothing if not a practiced magic act.
