Here is an interesting thread discussing Manson https://deeppoliticsforum.com/forums/sho...eep-dipped
We see hollow-eyed Manson in the Colorado Joker and Sandy Hook creature; only the drugs have been changed
I don't buy it. I think a much better case can be made that Sexy Sadie Mae Glutz -- Susan Atkins -- was the mastermind of the Tate-LaBianca murders.
Compare Manson's account of what happened ("Manson In His Own Words" w/Nuel Emmons) with Atkins' account which was published in the LA Times only a matter of days after her bust ("Helter Skelter" pg 261).
According to Manson, Atkins was hot to go over to Terry Melcher's house and do a graffiti number with Melcher's blood as she had done to Gary Hinman after he was killed by Bobby Beausoleil ten days earlier. She wrote "Political Piggy" on a wall in blood and it thrilled her.
Beausoleil had been arrested and she said if they did a blood-graffiti murder spree they'd let Bobby go. According to Charlie, he resisted the idea at first but quickly changed his mind and told Tex Watson to go along.
Melcher had moved out, Sharon Tate had moved in, etc.
According to one of Manson's long-time cell-mates Charlie was an instinctive follower type who never stopped talking.
There is no evidence he ever killed anyone himself, accessory though he was.
Charlie Manson -- one of the most over-rated villains of all time (imo).
Here's a trivia question: What end-of-an-era event occurred 3 days before Manson was charged with Tate-LaBianca 12/09/69?
Altamont.
The concurrence of a murder at a Rolling Stones concert with mass murder by hippies allowed the MSM to declare the end of the "peace and love '60's"...which only had a few weeks left anyway, chronologically if not culturally.
LSD was too unpredictable to be "weaponized."
