Drew Phipps Wrote:I'm thinking about adding this one to my collection, but 14$ for a paperback? If I recall his work correctly, his thesis is nothing new, "CIA+Mafia+Cuban", but he had a Cuban FBI informant. I'm guessing he doesn't "out" his informant in the book. There was an interview recently, Swearingen said that Felt (who became Deep Throat), on the day of the assasination, refused to dispatch additional FBI agents to Dallas becaue Hoover had already decided what the FBI's position was going to be, and that Hosty had been ordered to deep-six Oswald's entire informant file, not just a single letter as he later claimed.
Anyone else read this one, and is it worth it?
Felt was not "deep throat". That's just another spin.
Bob Woodward is so CIA you can't trust a word.
