A Simple Question as We Prepare for the 50th
#11
Another point: Absent detailed objectives, all who come forward with bold plans for the 50th in Dealey Plaza and elsewhere are shooting blanks.

And so I ask the most vocal solicitors of "preparations and ideas for the 50th" the all-important question: What are the short and long term objectives of your proposed actions?

Finger raisers: one trumps three.

Letter writers: Have you read the one that begins, "Dear Chancellor Hitler, Thank you for taking the time to review the following request to rethink your relocation program for our Jewish neighbors ... "

I'll write reviews of breakthrough books

As for writing Great White Father to explain his murder fifty years ago

He won't say why he sends 2,000 AK-47s to the drug gangsters

while their methedrine from superlabs stocked with ten thousand tons of Chinese precursors

salts the counties of our map

I collected his letters

(not in a binder but in a shelf of binders)

Because I do not hope

for a Miracle on Pennsylvania

a pony

or mercy from the Federal Reserve Bank of Bernie Madoff

I do not play Dear Abby with butchers

Yet again I'm reminded of the following passage from Thomas Berger's Little Big Man:

"The lambs will lie down with the lions--as long as you keep adding a few fresh lambs every now and then."

I respect you and your passions.

But you beg additional questions.

Upon whose authority will truth be accepted? The parent state? Caroline Kennedy? A box of previously undisclosed evidence?

How do you define "justice" in this case?

And to what would "solving" this case bring closure?

The authority I want is that which will never be: historical truth. The press, the text books. Alas, I see just the opposite. And entertainment passing for news. The football player with the fake girlfriend, Honey Boo.

"Closure" is not possible. Evil ones kill all the peace makers. They have perfected their methods. Nothing changes.

I don't think its a matter of what we want, its a matter of what can possibly be achieved.

And how and where.

On one level, RFK Jr. sure opened up a venue with his comments about his pop. Because this had always been used by the MSM to discredit the critics. It used to drive Sylvia Meagher nuts. Now that he has done so, its taken one tactic away from them.

The other venue is of course the legal one. That presenting of a grand jury petition could be done in more than one place. But the obvious place to start is Dallas and Craig Watkins. I wonder, has anyone actually talked to this guy about convening a grand jury to hear witnesses? I could put together a short list pretty easily.

Speaking of witnesses, has anyone read Finck's testimony to the ARRB? What a disgrace. Lied his head off.

In whose judgment?

What for some is viewed to be impossible is, for others, understood to be attainable.

JFK and RFK fell into the latter category.

We cannot attain justice for either if we scurry to hide in the former.

"Some men see things as they are and ask why. I see things as they can be and ask why not." George Bernard Shaw, from his play Back to Methuselah. (The line is spoken by Lucifer. But that's a discussion for another campfire.

This must not be an exercise of choosing options from a menu. Rather, it must be an exercise in creating a menu that addresses our appetites.

Then what?

Ideally, it would be cool if Watkins would meet with certain of us to hear what we think can be done and who he can call.

See, one of the reasons this might be tough is that, although he seems like a really good guy, these things that have been arranged by BELO and the Power Elite make it tougher for him

Has anyone down there tried to talk to him BTW?

Kindly submit such a list to and talk with Bill Kelly about this and related...he's been trying - don't know what level of success he's had.

Well perhaps someone else would have better luck than I did. As I posted some years back I took a legal seminar solely because Watkins was speaking. During a break I approached him. To discuss
the JFK assassination. He thought at first I was there to discuss his topic, the Innocence Project, but soon's he heard me say "JFK assassination" he looksd as if he might faint. I had come with some stuff for him to read and he put it in his pocket. Promised to get back to me. I contacted him later via his backbook page, through it's private message area. He did not reply, nor was I surprised.
I suspect he's been warned not to go there. Just my opinion. Based upon my personal experiences. Perhaps someone else will have better luck. Especially given that RFK Jr has broken the Kennedy wall of silence.

I've yet to read a list of suggested material objectives, the attainment of which the strategies and tactics of 50th anniversary actions would be conceived and executed.

The equivalent of "we'll take what we can get" is meaningless and thus wholly unacceptable.

If you're objective is official acknowledgement by the U.S. government of conspiracy ... you already have it.
