Jack White: Anything new from J.A.?
Yes, I talked to John three times this week, and have had
frequent emails. He is one of the featured speakers at all
five days of Len Osanic's Hawaii conference. He has sent
me three of his five speech scripts for critiquing. They
are excellent, but I cannot share any of them until after
the conference. He is still writing parts four and five.

Are the talks going to be internetcast live or online after, for those of us for whom a flight and hotel stay in Hawaii is far out of imagination, let alone reality.....?
You need to ask Len Osanic those questions. He is organizing it.

Charles, you do have a point about the IT and internet revolution. However, I would counter that the prevalence of Photoshop and other image manipulation programs would actually make it easier to fake an identity and hoodwink the public. Just saying...
Charles Drago Wrote:The IT Revolution, I'd say, has forced changes to the doppelganger gang's methodology.
Case in point: James Earl Ray was run through a modified doppelganger operation. The aliases chosen for him -- E. S. Galt is the prime example -- were of real-life individuals whose written descriptions were close enough to Ray's to fool investigators.
Today's easily shared-over-distance photographic images would have rendered this method moot.

Greetings, James,
Welcome to DPF.
I take your point regarding Photoshop and other capabilities that likely make it look like crayon strokes.
But let's stick to the original context: My focus was and is on the events of the late 1960s, when the "authorities" had nothing else to go on but written descriptions.
Best,
Charles
