I saw Bush say it twice and Cheney say it once.
It's very well established that Bush and Cheney fought tooth and nail not to have an investigation, and only gave in because of so much pressure (mostly from the victims' families).
I havent done much reading on 911. Theres so much i still need to do on the jfk assassination.
But boy when i saw those clips the hair went up on the back of my neck.

They argued that it would be too disruptive to have an investigation during their "war on terror," that we couldn't start punishing people in government for not doing their jobs because it would demoralize the country and help the enemy, blah blah blah. Never mind the Pearl Harbor investigations during WWII.
BTW, in the interview with Broeckers, it must be a translation error/typo error where he says 5th floor instead of 6th. I wish they would fix that. Good interview, though.
It's funny how it's almost impossible to find lone-nutters in Europe, or anywhere else outside the English-speaking world. I did find one lone-nutter site run by an Italian, which is amazing because Italy is the friggin' Land of Conspiracy. Among the Germans and French, though - they've had so many plots in their countries, they know one when they see it.
