Its amazing how the EF forum is screwing up the Thompson/Keith F presentation.

Because to me it was pretty easy to understand.

Thompson simply stated that he was dead wrong about the slight forward tilt of JFK's head at 311-313. That is an illusion from a smear on the film.

He used Dave Wimp's mathematical work and slides to show this was the case. These were convincing I think.

That is crucial in and of itself since so many people have postulated a double hit around this time in the film.

But this new work, pretty much settles it as far as where that shot came from, since now there is only one movement--straight back. I mentioned this in my review of Reitzes piece of crap in Skeptic. That this would blow up many theories from the other side.

But further, they then said there was a hit past 313, from the rear at about 329 which knocks him forward. ANd they demonstrated this with the speed of the movement and the acoustics tape.

This really changes things if its so, and in many ways.

BTW, both Groden and Mantik later said they have been working along similar lines.

As I said in my Reitzes review, if this is accurate, game's over.

Kudos to Bill Kelly and Jim DiEugenio, however, for their well received and important presentations.[/QUOTE]

Kudos to both of them. Having read Jim's books and articles i can imagine what his presentation included
regarding the big picture and it will help identify the sponsors of the crime.

Up to now those who supported the "two shots to the head" believed that he was hit from behind at Z313 and from the front hitting him in the temple at Z321-Z323.This is very interesting and we'll need to see or read these presentations to fully understand what they mean. I am not a big fan of the microanalysis, trajectories and bullets studies since they confuse you more than helping to understand the case. for example i just watched a youtube interview of Dr. Wecht https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl...tUL-BpZAu8
where he says that the first shot hit JFK in the back and exited from the front of the neck. But this will mean an upward trajectory which is strange. Now i was not there so i don't have a complete picture of what it was said. How did he explain this during his presentation?

Thanks for that link Marlene, Lisa was a real Pistol both at the Media and JFK event on Thursday night at the Heinz Center and during her featured presentation on Saturday afternoon - titled: "The Covert Corruption of Culture: How our Reaction to JFK's Assassination and Cover-up Determines our Future," which was really well received.

I appreciate her posting that so I don't have to refer to my notes, and hope that she will post her slide show and text of her presentation on Saturday.

On Saturday afternoon, I sat in the back corner of the room a few rows in front of Max Holland and John McAdams. I said hello to Max and thanked him for attending my presentation, and wanted to shake hands with McAdams, who I somehow manage to frequently duel with on the internet, even though I try to avoid him. But he left the room before I had a chance to meet him.

Neither were invited to speak so they must have paid to get in, and I wonder if McAdams used his real name or alias?

In any case, I wouldn't have hesitated about nailing those blatant disinfo agents - and we know who they are - JPM, Aynsworth, Jim Phalen, Hal Hendrix, Joe Goulden, and I suspect - Posner, Holland and McAdams, but don't know that for sure.

One of the questions Cyril Wecht himself asked - What motivates CIA assets to become witting collaborators to a lie?

And while the answers were generally correct - patriotism, money, etc., I thought they should have invited Max Holland and McAdams up there and let them have the mic to answer those questions.

I thought we should have treated them politely and not consider them the enemy, but rather, knowing who they are, firmly shake their hand, look them in the eye, and let them know that they really are on the wrong side.

I'm pretty sure they are not going to report back to their CIA masters that we are a threat to them, or anything more than just a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorists, but they only saw what was publicly presented on stage, and they don't know what happened behind the scenes.

I too tried to blog from there, but it was too hectic, and am just now catching up, but will post the program notes and text of my presentation on a Forensic Study of the Air Force One radio transmission tapes at http://jfkcountercoup.blogspot.com/

I'm also going to write an article of my take on the JFK and the Media - panels that should be interesting.

And thanks for your comments Cliff, and V V, as Jimmy D also did a great job at describing JFK's foreign policies and how they led to his death.

LOL

I am really sorry I missed Bill's presentation since he has done a really nice job in trying to put together the AF One tapes and combine all versions inclusively. He deserves kudos for that.

I also agree that the Thursday night media panel was really good. Morley said some really interesting things about how tough it was for him to get stories through the Post editors.

I cannot praise Ben Wecht and Cyril enough. I taped an hour long spot for Len's show tonight discussing some of the three days.

To be as old as Cyril is, 83, and to just refuse to buckle under to the WC idiocy. Wow.
