I am shocked that he would even say that people don't believe Oswald did it. He has gone to such great lengths to uphold Oswald as the assassin, that there was no other shooter and that the SBT is true. He's been on countless shows disproving other shooters.

I think you are missing the intent. Gary is staying safely in the middle with a quote that can be seen either way. 6th Floor doublespeak.

IMHO, if Gary Mack at this point in time is not towing the Lone Nutter line and trying to dispute every conspiracy, he is losing his credibility. He is in that Benedict Arnold position of being traitorous to the work he did with jack White et al before, and his current position now. It would be as if Mark Lane suddenly said that he believes that people ARE satisfied with the premise that the SBT is true.
