A Revolution of Mind by Greg Burnham

This. Some felt it was an op to deflect attention from JFKU. So those promoting it (Morrow, reviewers et al) were suspect and possibly complicit. Regardless of intel involvement, the book is clearly wrong in its premise and those who seek to place it center stage are not helping in furthering understanding in the matter but involved in a cover up, wittingly or unwittingly.

I get a bit frustrated when I see these claims or accusations that so-and-so who disagree with us are part of some 'Op' when I don't see much by way of actual evidence that that is the case. I may have missed some reasonable presentation of such a case with this Nelson book, I admit. I just presume that many people are wrong most of the time. This author was in the insurance industry, or something? I would think if it were misinformation, it would have gotten a bit of support. That seems the way the LN community works: tons of media support for the same naïve, methodologically-unsound claptrap. This Nelson guy comes off as a more sane less sex-obsessed Morrow, in my opinion. This isn't the most important point to be making right now, but I worry that too many discussions descend to accusations. If there's an even bigger problem with this book, it's that it relies on so many secondary sources - at best.

I have not read my copy and probably won't. What I may do is put it right next to 'Reclaiming History': the shelf will include any and all books I own simply because they were mispriced.

'Mastermind' is more beneficial for those with less research because it brings them up to speed on Johnson's treachery. However it does so at the cost of presenting an incorrect version of Johnson's role. The way I see Nelson is he's a huckster who needed a hook so he pushed the mastermind theory in order to gain sales. You get some people whose pet angle is mafia, Johnson, Cubans etc and they push it to the hilt. Then you have the opposite from the factualist camp where researchers go after real events and deny their veracity and significance.

If you want to see live ops go to the Amazon book reviews for the Assassination. You've really run a successful op when you can get unknowing civilians to back it like in the 'Killing Kennedy' review section. It reminds me of the frenzy for Adolph Hitler in the streets of Germany with the mesmerizing Heil Hitler salutes.

Why don't you guys like LBJ? He's clearly a crooked politician. He's the perfect guy to bridge interested (angry) parties like Big Oil, the MIC, and the FBI, having undeniable associations with them all. He boasted (to his later-to-be-estranged-mistress-and-alleged-mother-of-his-lovechild Madeline Brown) that the Kennedys would embarrass him no more; then (according to the same mistress) admitted knowing who killed JFK. His pal, Malcolm "Mac" Wallace, is a convicted murderer (with sloppy techniques) whose palm bears a 34-point match to the partial palm print in the TSBD sniper's nest. His political crony Billie Estes (whose fraudulent escapades have been proven in a court of law) fingered LBJ as the guy who arranged it. He's got military-industrial complex connections.

What do you guys have against LBJ?

Drew they were not palm prints but his fingerprints. From his- Wallace's- John Kinsner murder conviction, to the partial unidentified fingerprint found on the 6th floor.

We all believe LBJ was involved just not the mastermind, or to use CD's term a "sponsor".

Mitchell, When I said that the LBJ as Mastermind thesis is disinformation, I was not accusing Nelson of intent. The intention to misinform can be through much more subtle means. I am saying this thesis is disinformation without identifying the ultimate source. Nelson might well have this intent, but I wouldn't know that. He also might be sincerely wrong.

Here you see the real purpose of Greg's forum. To put Greg in total control, which may or may not be based on real issues. I don't know. In my opinion Greg takes himself way too seriously and responds to a threat that may or may not exist. I get the feeling Greg speaks as if he is being given great attention by the world when in fact his posts are probably being read by a small handful of people. I think his site was formed so that when Greg dodges direct questions and accuses innocent people of being multi-CIA agents posting from their computer there won't be any challenge. The point being that any JFK assassination researcher who doesn't see how much of a hypocrisy it is to form an even worse undemocratic group than the one you are criticizing is off in his practice and approach. I don't think the threat Greg poses, that he is allegedly reacting to, actually exists to the degree he is responding. The result is a resonance of delusions of grandeur, petty bombast, and overmoderation designed to compensate for personal and research failures. There's a lot of run-away egos in the JFK assassination community.

Aaarrrrgh! Just pleased it isn't happening here. So much time wasted on so much crap. Delusional mostly. Theatre. Drama queens. Tragic.

Yes it is and yes he can. But it didn't stop him sending some rather heavy handed and ominous emails trying to run this one his way too. And I'm not even referring to the 70 page opus of tedium and delusion presented to me about Albert's supposed super devious and super human super sleuthing intel activities. The only piece of independent research I ever saw from CD. Totally beneath all of them really but there you go. They'd rather be trolling. Folie a Deux. Or Tres in this case.
