Yeah,James Norwood produced a hit piece for Fetzer and "Veterans Today".Both these guys have been professors for forty years and you would think they could do better than lie their way through life. What a waste.....
And,I hope it's not lost on Veterans who read the "Veterans Today" site that Norwood (most likely no Veteran),set up,then knocked down a disabled Vietnam combat Veteran.Oh,the irony........

Sure it could have been a setup in theory, but from my POV, there was nothing to indicate that Bush suffered from this itty bitty scandal. It just went away. Another explanation is that this guy gets in the WH as a warning "we can get to you. Watch it."
Sort of like keeping a leash on Clinton with Monica Lewinsky. Reagan was compromised more forcefully. Even LBJ showed signs of not being totally in the loop.
Albert, If you read Compromised: Clinton, Bush, and the CIA by Terry Reed, they had a lot more on him than Lewinsky. If Reed is telling the truth, and the book seems to be consistent with other information, he was in on the CIA financial corruption with their state bond issuing fund, illegal gun manufacturing and gun running, and the drug running into Mena, AR. Drugs, weapons, and financial money laundering -- the modern triangle trade. Clinton was in it with the CIA up to his eyeballs. So much for being progressive Democrat.

Great book Lauren. One that kept me up all night reading, could not put it down in 98 or so when I got it. Required reading to understand that there is not a dime's worth of difference between the two parties on certain issues, like CIA drug dealing, especially. . (But differences on social issues like abortion, controlling women in general. )
Also the stuff about Poppy Bush is way worse than prostitutes. It was headlines in the early 90's in the Washington Times. Franklin Coverup. Young sex slaves. (I am missing Jan right now!!!!! He is the forum expert on matters of this grave nature since he personally investigated a lot of it. )
Bush crime syndicate.

The recent CNN '60's' Program has noticeably softened up its previous approach seen on the 50th Anniversary. Their regular commenters like Dallek are now openly questioning if the evidence against Oswald was sound, albeit in a soft, indirect manner. Never the less it is still a noticeable shift from the Lone Nut propaganda of the Anniversary shows. When discussing Oswald's guilt on the CNN '60's' program several of the commenters said there might be serious question as to his guilt.

I lent Comprimised out to my bro-in-law a few weeks ago. He is anti-conspiracy theory. Time to ask for it back and get his reaction.
Not only Poppy Bush, but Bill Clinton. And then the two of them were making public appearances together a few years back. ::vomit::
EDIT: I was able to locate the small, rural training air field in Arkansas as well as the VERY strange German encampment where Reed was cutting deals to build his weapons manufacturing plants in Mexico in Google Earth. His descriptions were spot on and lent a lot of credibility.
