Gentlepersons, I think this is now an unintended diversion of the thread - which was about Red Bird Airport. Please do whatever more on this in a new thread. I have other photos of Plumlee [many], but am not going to look for others at this time. I know it is he in that photo. ::prison::

Thanks to everyone who helped contribute to my queries.I have some good information now to send back to my son.I think I will also send him the Spartacus page on OP-40.
He'll see now just how hard it is to get accurate information about the murder of JFK.

Keith, I take issue with a blanket statement that 'it is hard to get accurate information about the JFK assassination'. Yes, if one doesn't already know of reliable sources, one can run into poorly researched articles or books; more likely one will run into the myriad disinformation articles and books put out by the Ministry of Disinformation, HQ and sub-branches. There are many authors, researchers and books, websites and other places where one can generally find as close to an approximation of the truth as we have come to 50 years on...but that is something one must learn and also learn to trust oneself - but always to question, as well. Give your son a copy of JFK and the Unspeakable - would be my first suggestion. It is about 1/3 references and he can go from there. There are lots of other good books, authors, articles, magazines, websites, but that one is rather outstanding - especially because it tackles the why, so often left out in all the details of the what and who and how.

That is him...and he has admitted it is him [but that alone doesn't absolutely mean it is so!!!] He has named the date and the occasion to me - and even that Hopsicker got wrong or was told wrong. Eye color/shade is the easiest thing to tamper with in a photo and we know how intelligence-related photos can be tampered with - but can also just change with ambient lighting and flash, etc. Besides, knowing the nature of the meeting and the others there, Plumlee would fit, and Sturgis would not. In your google search url above, even that photo is listed! Check out the hairline and face structure. If it is not Plumlee, it is someone other than Sturgis...but my bet and belief and word from Plumlee is it is Plumlee.

Thanks for the clarification on the pic Peter. It's definitely Tosh.
I too wish Tosh would explain about the Redbird flight. When I read it in JFK and the Unspeakable years ago I emailed Tosh asking him if this was HIS flight but he never replied.
He does not post on forums anymore -for the reason he has always given- that no one really responds. He has a lot of response on his facebook page where he is very active.
I am way too busy with work right now to try to begin to untangle this whole incident. Tosh is forthcoming about so very much I wonder why he won't set his story along side Wayne January's and try to make it all make some sense. I have started to re-read JFKU.
What he called me about on Sat is the alleged release of LHO and ONI records. I had not heard about it. Anyone here?
Bill Kelly where are you??
It was stated in Barry and the Boys that this was William Seymour. Apparently this is a picture of Seymour:

from Spartacus Educational which doesn't (to me) look much like the guy in the Operation 40 picture.

Barry and Boys was a nice attempt....and even the location of that picture makes the entire book worth it, but there are many factual errors in the book. I would personally not take much from that book, without finding a second source.
