Tracy Riddle Wrote:I exchanged a few letters with Harold Weisberg back in the early 90s, and he told me that Gary Mack was one of the researchers he respected. I don't know if his opinion later changed. But I've never been impressed with him.

Back then Mr. Dunkel was playing the role [living the legend] of a 'real' researcher of the case and even was one of the prime persons to notice and talk about 'badgeman'. At that time he was known and worked with many good researchers. It is still unknown if Dunkel sold out or was always a 'sleeper' for the keepers of the Big Lie - but he surely is frontman for them now, like a circus barker huckster. Quite a few sleepers changed from surety about a conspiracy to LNs. I had my own run-ins with several, and was done harm by infiltration of my research by Russo. Dunkel/Mack used to email me too - but has quit [and don't start again Larry!]. Whatever his motives, he is definitely on the 'dark side' now, and I'm quite convinced he knows it, too. There is money and favors/power in doing the bidding of The Man.....not much for those who try to speak truth to power. I have NO use for traitors to the Truth! Those who are just naive or misled are pathetic; however, those who know the Truth, but dance to the music of the Big Lies are the lowest of the low.

On the other hand, maybe Mrs. Tippit had indicated she didn't want to talk to any "conspiracy people" and Mack was the guy who could help tip her off.

I play devil's advocate with issues like these because people like McAdams make a career out of lampooning such speculation. And, people like Mack maintain they flipped over to the Lone Nut side over some folks dedication to bad evidence.

Bad evidence? Badgeman and the acoustic evidence were never very persuasive to me, and Mack thought they were the best we had.

Thanks for those photos Joseph. A dignified looking lady. I always find it interesting and very sad to see the families of the dead and missing. They show the signs of their lives lived and their heavy burden carried while their loved ones are forever young. We see it with the families of the disappeared in South America. The mothers and fathers of missing children who are never found. JFK forever young while his daughter grows old. We will see it when the media interview the families of MH370 passengers in years to come. Time stands still for some and not for others.

Great point Tracy. He is a generally unimpressive guy.

Hugh Aynesworth was selected as a MODERATOR for a discussion at the Sixth Floor Museum? By whom?

Wow. Some things require no additional comment.

Probably Gary Mack. They are likely as thick as thieves. Hard to believe that old liar is even still alive.
Someone needs to do an updated article- or even a book- on all the Mockingbirds in this case.
