I'm at home with tonsillitis and just sent the following email to some researchers in Europe. Rather than rewriting it for the forum (I had originally planned a long post) I'm just going to reprint it and save myself the trouble. That said there are a number of entryways here for fairly obvious investigation and research.

Quote:Hi guys,
On the subject of Gladio I just wanted to share the following as it has been on my mind.
Wikileaks published a 1973 cable last year regarding a Panorama news article discussing Gladio. It is here.
https://www.wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/1...261_b.html
The article names 'FSO Peter Bridges' as being involved in a Gladio plot.
Checking Google, I see that Bridges did a long interview (120 pages) several years ago. He addresses the Red Brigades but adopts a posture of ignorance regarding Gladio involvement. That PDF is here -

There are some interesting things in that interview, not the least for me that Bridges (who had learned Russian in the US) notes that he started his diplomatic career with the aid of Dimitri Von Mohrenschildt, older brother of George de Mohrenschildt. Googling George's name with the keyword 'Gladio' brings up a number of suggestive hits.
Bridges has written other articles, an early account of his military career here

and a travel diary here. Read the first two paragraphs of the travel diary ('Corsica, with a Collie') and Bridges for some reason is returning to the subject of terrorism, replete with an explanation for the murderer's acts.

Bridges also wrote a non-fiction(?) account of his time as a diplomat in Somalia. Click on the cover image at this Amazon link and scroll down to the sample text shown from chapter one ('The Interesting Possibility'), and Bridges is talking about Italian terrorism yet again. He mentions his superior officer is Maxwell Rabb

Search 'Maxwell Rabb Gladio' on Google and Rabb's name comes up in some of the literature and articles. I don't know about the validity of this next link but there is an ominous Rabb biography here.

Reaching the present day, Bridges has his own LinkedIn page with a small history and some info he offers about himself.
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/peter-bridges/9/698/a51
In his personal 'summary' he simply notes, 'Writer, lecturer, strategic planner, executive'. Sadly he isn't more explicit about what sort of strategic planning he thinks he's been most effective at in the past.
After a few years with Shell Oil, Bridges spends a short period of time with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, assisting businesses that are transitioning from 'state socialism to free enterprise', i.e away from Socialist/Communist ideals, and towards free western capitalism. So this is presumably an interest of his. At this point I suggest you simply Google 'European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Gladio' to see the list of hits and links that come up where the bank has been found relevant in discussion with Gladio, there are a few. Exchange 'Gladio' in that search phrase for 'Breivik' and you can see the bank implicated in various histories of Breivik's actions. It's all very peculiar.
I am curious about the original Panorama article that started my whole search. It would be interesting to know what they had to say about Bridges back then.
please take care and feel free to let me know any thoughts on the above.
best wishes,
Anthony
