In The Shadow Of Dallas
#1
I was recently poking around in one of the many used book stores in my area, and I found a copy of "In The Shadow Of Dallas - A Primer on the Assassination of President Kennedy", published by the editors of Ramparts Magazine, 1967. I haven't read through it yet, but it looks pretty insightful for the time. I also picked up a copy of The Ruby Cover Up by Seth Kantor. I haven't read that one yet, either They also had a copy of the WC Witness Testimony, I was thinking of picking that one up if it's still there. Might provide some interesting reading.

IIRC Seth Kantor is the reporter that actually ran into Jack Ruby at Parkland Hospital shortly after the shooting. If so that book ought to have some very interesting first hand observations.
"All that is necessary for tyranny to succeed is for good men to do nothing." (unknown)

James Tracy: "There is sometimes an undue amount of paranoia among some conspiracy researchers that can contribute to flawed observations and analysis."

Gary Cornwell (Dept. Chief Counsel HSCA): "A fact merely marks the point at which we have agreed to let investigation cease."

Alan Ford: "Just because you believe it, that doesn't make it so."

I've never even heard of "In the Shadow of Dallas." It must be very rare.

I had never heard of it either. It includes "The Shadow Of Dallas" by David Welsh, "Editorials From The Midlothian Mirror" by Penn Jones Jr., A Letter From Jail: by Jack Ruby, and "A Counter-Theory:The Case For Three Assassins" by David Welsh and David Lifton. 119pgs. I don't know if they did large printings of these publications.
