Did Roy Truly make an unintentional error due to harboring deep subconscious feelings about his actual movements that afternoon ----->
BELIN. When did you get over to the southeast corner of the sixth floor?
Mr. TRULY. That I can't answer. I don't remember when I went over there. It was sometime before I learned that they had found either the rifle or the spent shell cases.
Why was Roy Truly over in the sniper's nest before the authorities actually found any incriminating "evidence"?

Lest anyone assume Holmes is making reference to a vestibule on the 2nd floor, the roof, anywhere else, etc. ---->
Mr. HOLMES. He said it was in the vestibule.
Mr. BELIN. He said he was in the vestibule?
Mr. HOLMES. Or approaching the door to the vestibule. He was just coming, apparently, and I have never been in there myself. Apparently there is two sets of doors, and he had come out to this front part.
Mr. BELIN. Did he state it was on what floor?
Mr. HOLMES. First floor. The front entrance to the first floor.

While testifying about his witnessing the last LeeOswald interrogation on Sunday, 11/24/'63, HarryHolmes made a very telling comment on 4/2/'64:
"Mr Holmes: Yes sir. Now, this is my impression, not what he said."

For further significance/clarification @ the stairway encounter andin comparisonthe hastily contrived script encounter all the way clear across the floor… ---->
https://www.history-matters.com/archive/...E_1381.pdf
Please scroll downward to page 677 (right hand column) to read Roy Truly's CE 1381 statement in full, but I'll excerpt the part that confirms the distance from the stairway, where Baker's same day affidavit reflects precisely where he engages someone other than the wrongly accused, quote, walking away from the stairway, and then his next day play along Or-Else-parrot-like-allegiance to a hastily contrived script about a lunchroom phantom hoax.
What say ye, Roy Truly at distance from the stairway , where Baker's actual encounter occurred as oppose to the next day hastily contrived lunchroom phantom hoax, quote ---->
"located in the back part of the building about 20 or 3O feet from the stairway" --Roy Truly
In spite of their hastily contrived script the next day, even music icon Stevie Wonder can see/discern the MUCH greater distance between the lunchroom, and precisely where Baker actually makes his encounter, the stairway.
A major difference between the stairway and a lunchroom some 20-30 feet away clear across the other side of the floor.

Alan Ford Wrote:The 2nd floor lunchroom encounter simply came to be the next day after a hastily contrived script needed to be fulfilled.
All we have to do here is take an honest look at Officer Marrion Baker's same day account of the actual events, and the actual individual he encountered ---->
AFFIDAVIT IN ANY FACT
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF DALLAS
BEFORE ME, Mary Rattan, a Notary Public in and for said County, State of Texas, on this day personally appeared M. L. Baker, Patrolman Dallas Police Department who, after being by me duly sworn, on oath deposes and says:
Friday November 22, 1963 I was riding motorcycle escort for the President of the United States. At approximately 12:30 pm I was on Houston Street and the President's car had made a left turn from Houston onto Elm Street. Just as I approached Elm Street and Houston I heard three shots. I realized those shots were rifle shots and I began to try to figure out where they came from. I decided the shots had come from the building on the northwest corner of Elm and Houston. This building is used by the Board of Education for book storage. I jumped off my motor and ran inside the building. As I entered the door I saw several people standing around. I asked these people where the stairs were. A man stepped forward and stated he was the building manager and that he would show me where the stairs were. I followed the man to the rear of the building and he said, "Let's take the elevator." The elevator was hung several floors up so we used the stairs instead. As we reached the third or fourth floor I saw a man walking away from the stairway. I called to the man and he turned around and came back toward me. The manager said, "I know that man, he works here." I then turned the man loose and went up to the top floor. The man I saw was a white man approximately 30 years old, 5'9", 165 pounds, dark hair and wearing a light brown jacket.

SUBSCRIBED AND SWORN BEFORE ME THIS 22 DAY OF November A.D. 1963
/s/ Mary Rattan
Notary Public, Dallas County, Texas
One simple question--given Baker's actual recording of his actual encounter (specifically where it really happened, the stairway, How did the encounter suddenly move away from the stairway all the way over across the floor...over into the lunchroom?

Critical thinkers know why, because the phantom 2nd floor encounter did not happen until the next day...when a hastily contrived script created the lunchroom phantom encounter, an encounter that needed several tweaks to determine if the wrongly accused was sitting; standing; nursing a Coke; was empty handed void of a Coke; etc, etc, etc any lie will do until the hastily contrived script could be refined to even resemble truth (Roy Truly's "truth").
There is a major difference between encountering someone walking away from you on the stairway as oppose to moving the encountering clear across the floor away from the stairway, and over into a lunchroom.
Baker's same day affidavit rings true. Anything else is a hastily contrived script after the fact.
Strictly for clarification, DPD MotorcycleOfficer ML Baker's actual testimony can be found @ http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/russ/testimony/baker_m1.htm
He makes no mention of an encounter on "the stairway", and seems to be quite specific about the lunchroom encounter.

O nice catch there Holmes, you knew which way the wind was blowing five months later eh mate?
And when was that? Going back five months from April 2, 1964 would be November 2, 1963, some twenty(20) days before the murder of JFKSr, and wounding of JBCJr, and twenty seven(27) days prior to the Warren Commission being established. Simple arithmetic, no brilliance needed.
Your question, "So, Are you & the OP left to merely cherry-pick your star witness' 'truth'?... deciding what is favorable to your aim/end and what is not ?" lacks merit, and actually appears to me to be exactly what you are doing, while accusing someone else of doing so. Nothing new there.

Well worth consideration: Beginning at about 12:30pm CST on 11/22/'63, the TSBD, DealyPlaza, and the city of Dallas, Texas was in a state of chaos for several days.
And, those of us who remember the afternoon of 11/22/'63, as well as the events through the weekend, should, and most do, recall the ambiguity regarding the early reporting of the assassination attempt, and the noticeable chaos accompanying those early reports.
While performing his duties as the TSBD BuildingSuperintendent on 11/22/'63, just after escorting DPD MotorcyclePatrolOfficer ML Baker up to the roof, apparently RS Truly, while returning to each floor, noticed an open sixth floor window with view of the area blocked by boxes stacked behind it. And, knowing shots had been fired at the JFKSr Motorcade in an assassination attempt almost directly in front of said building just a few minutes earlier, he likely felt that he needed to observe the area. RS Truly's testimony is available:
