One thing that I find very interesting about the Jones affair is this:
These attacks on Alex Jones only began after he threw his support behind a petition to grant Julian Assange amnesty and asylum. Very telling indeed.

He was pulled from Twitter shortly after he published the above article in support of Assange and WikiLeaks.

To give another example of just how mad the MSM was at Jones for this "transgression", Google even pulled Infowars from their search results.
Supporting Julian Assange seems to be dangerous for one's political well-being these days.
