The 'Strange' Death of Hale Boggs
#31
Jonathan Walczak's valuable 40 page book on the disappearance of Hale Boggs is now available for free download at the website linked below.

One drawback - Walczak has not studied the doubts that Boggs likely had about JFK's assassination closely enough. He makes no mention of Joan Mellen's information about Boggs from A FAREWELL TO JUSTICE, or the other data on that topic noted from this thread. Early in the book he quotes an unnamed memo where an FBI agent recounts how Boggs was dismissive of a conspiracy surrounding the assassination. I am not going to take the FBI's word about anything to do with Boggs, and think that Walczak has missed an important line of research that would suggest any such FBI memo is disinformation.

That aside, his book is about the disappearance itself, and has useful information. He might have missed the broader picture, but he does suggest that Boggs was murdered.

Researchers aware of how Boggs was troubled about the Warren Commission findings can join the dots. Boggs deserved better. And Allen Dulles has a lot to answer for.

Quote:In 1972, two U.S. congressmen, a political aide, and a pilot vanished on a small plane in Alaska. Despite a search of more than 325,000 square miles, they were never found.Less than 17 months later, Pegge Begich, the widow of one of the congressmen, married Jerry Max Pasley, a man with mafia ties who committed multiple murders, bombed a judge's house, and was even mentioned in Gay Talese's best-seller on the Bonanno crime family, "Honor Thy Father."In the 1990s, while incarcerated for murder, Pasley told four law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, that in 1972, he transported explosives to Alaska, and that another man put a bomb on the plane the night before it vanished.Pasley, who died in 2010, may have lied. Or he may have told the truth. Read, and make up your own mind. What is certain, however, is this: the FBI conducted a brief, ineffective investigation of his claims, according to three on-the-record law enforcement sources, and the Alaska media remains silent to this day."Four Gone," the product of an ongoing investigation, is the never-before-told story of the disappearance of Hale Boggs, Nick Begich, Russ Brown, and Don Jonz. It is based on extensive documentation and on-the-record sources.

FOUR GONE: THE UNTOLD STORY OF THE 1972 DISAPPEARANCE OF CONGRESSMAN HALE BOGGS AND NICK BEGICH.

I will be the first to say that I do NOT know a smidgen of information or research as many of you here do. in-fact, nearly all of you, if not everyone at this forum knows a hell of a lot more then I do in any historical event, and especially those that involved Kennedy's assassination, just to mention a few Jim D., Jim H., real truth tellers who are seeking the answers. And, I applaud them, truthfully, if they would take some of the information I gave here, and look into it, perhaps, what they may find is not what I want corroborated.

How in the hell can anyone live with finding out who your parents really are after forty plus years and know that your father was a killer? Now if that's not enough to screw with your head nothing can.

Now, I hope no one here miss reads me, and I will plainly say could my father kill someone? Well, looking back at my life as a child I felt protected, but now that I think about it and how my father acted around Sturgis and many other Cubans that came over our house, I'd say yes, there's no doubt my father could kill, and he would've without hesitation.

I also want to make this specifically clear, in no way do I fully believe my father had anything to do with the disappearance of Boggs and others. But, I can't ignore the fact that a guy like my father was in Alaska during the month of October 1972, and he had no earthy business in Alaska unless it was just to visit an old Army Sargent friend of his from back in the 60's, and that's even more harder to believe. During the 70's, several folks have recently told me my father was paranoid, unstable and suspicious of things going on. Rudy was one of the guy's who told me this when Rudy also tried to warn my father about the things he was getting himself into. Just before going to Alaska my father went to Haiti after Watergate broke. I do believe with all my heart my father had the only known photos taken of the individuals in Dallas, and for over forty plus years those who were closest to my father knew him well, (they opened up to me out of respect for my father) they've already confirmed to me that the photos were in-fact those involved in Kennedy's assassination. (I do believe that.)

Knowing who my father was and the shared company he kept while playing in the same sandbox, I have to ask myself, could a guy like my father play apart in the disappearance of Boggs? Although, I don't want to believe it, the question still remains.

I think Dulles was one of what is being referred to by the Drago model as "top facilitators" and probably bore major weight in the planning and execution of the assassination. Or seeing Dulles' personality profile, he probably let better more skilled wet operators do the actual detailed planning of the hit and more likely influenced it. Sort of like 'Executive Action'.

Anyone have any further thoughts on the free online Jonathan Walczak book I linked to yesterday, three pages back, covering the death of Hale Boggs? I thought it was of interest.

I agree it is of interest and contains some new information that is or might be important; however, he is way off base IMO on Bogg's thoughts on JFK's assassination, and I find it a bit hard to swallow that the mob blew the plane up and not someone working for the FBI or another intelligence agency of the U.S. - although Hoover and the mob were very close. Hoover and Nixon were happy as could be when the plane was 'missing' and neither did anything to really locate the plane or its passengers. I still feel Boggs was the target and from 'on high'. It does seem to me they survived, but were purposely not rescued and thus died of exposure.

Me neither. Can we not do something about Scott Kaiser's constant spamming of the forum?

I finally got around to cleaning out the trash in this thread. Sorry about the delay. I must say I had a great day today and this housecleaning activity just finished off in fine style. :Hooray:

Scott, when did your father go to Alaska and when did he return from Alaska? Sometimes operational people are moved into place but not used in an operation - they are just there in case needed or to be used as patsies if things go wrong. He could have been there for reasons other than the Boggs' Operation - or he could have been there for it. Did he have FBI controllers? It was my impression his connections were more to the CIA as an 'off the shelf' deniable operative. It seems to me that the Operation to kill Boggs was run by the FBI. Perhaps the CIA [who also had reason to get rid of him] also played a role that has not yet been seen. While the two agencies on occasion worked together, they usually did not. For Hoover, Boggs was both a National Security Threat [about to re-open the JFK Assassination investigation] and a personal threat [Boggs stating that Hoover was running a 'Gestapo' organization.]. For the CIA it was just the former and no evidence has yet surfaced of their participation - but that doesn't mean they were not involved.

Hi Peter, I will only answer your questions through a private email, and not through this site, those who have an ear will not hear, and those who say we see are blind.

They have no idea what they're doing. I have tried to remain humble, but for some they take that attribute in exchange for ignorance, they know not what they say, and when I go fishing, I apparently catch a clownfish every now and then. You may reach me at scott-kaiser@hotmail.com I will answer any question you have.

Yes, I will tell you that my father only answered to Robert Dwyer, he, my father didn't trust anyone after his discovery.

Let me rephrase when I said my father only answered to Robert I mean in that three-letter agency of course he answered to others in other three-letter agencies.
