So far I watched a few.... .sadly, as with all previous years and previous conferences, the technical 'aspects' of the videos are poor - so sad, as there are; and I could name some, conference software that works. Whatever they are using doesn't. Having people getting questions via mobile phone is insane. Most of these talks were cut...some by 99%! The one with PDS is typical. He is frustrated by the problems, one can't hear the questions.....technology available is WAY beyond this folks at COPA, as good as you are; as much as I respect you for all the hard work.....you must get it together on the technical end to get this out to the world!!!! Many of us, such as I, who once attended every year, for one reason or another can not or do not and the INFORMATION is what needs to get out. I think Skype would work better than some of these do [and without the advertisements that pop-up at the bottom], but...anyway, do take a look.... http://politicalassassinations.com/
At least what people have to say [to the extent you can hear it] is worth listening to. Polished presentations, these are not. Again, sadly. I respect COPA highly, but they repeat the mistakes of the previous conference each time......
Valentine here http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/10989030 A very good and IMPORTANT talk on the drug/CIA/Mafia/Dallas(and other) connections! No questions were allowed...too bad. Great material!
Peter Dale Scott here http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/10986366 Good, but only part of his planned talk and one could hear NONE of the questions asked, only the answers. Sadly, it even catches him in total upset at the end [when he thinks he is not being recorded].....honest anger/frustration anyway!
A look at William Turner here http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/10983348 Not a word of substance....sadly.
A few odd and unconnected remarks on the Z film and timing of shots.....and QUICK exit stage right.... http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/10983271
John Judge in DP speaking off the cuff http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/11026776
John Judge indoors at COPA reading Peter Dale Scotts IMPORTANT work on COG during both 11/22 and 9/11! http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/10979984
It is followed on the same video by Ed Haslam talking about JVB...and I have to admit....his presentation made me think we have [many of us] underrated JVB's story - at least parts of it...perhaps many parts of it.....have a look and decide for yourself!
Cynthia McKinney saying hello......oh, my.... http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/10966976:help:...ah! A longer version!.... http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/10966614 Damn.....if only she were President!!!!
On James E. Ray's Brother and James....sort of.....due to technical difficulties... http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/2617235
On the Murder of Malcolm-X, and others [after quite a long part without anyone saying anything....] http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/4911445 A VERY important eye witness about an hour in who saw one of the shooters in the Police Station later [he was a Policeman!].

Peter,
I agree with you on all counts. The technology is there, but those there don't understand the technology. I think John G. is in Ireland.
I have been totally disapointed in the Dallas conferences the past few years, and have been trying to organize one in DC for some time now. Not one addressed to researchers, but one addressed to the Congressmen who have to be convinced to conduct JFK Act oversight hearings, and Justice Dept. attorneys who can open a federal grand jury to investigate the destruction, theft and missing records, as well as other crimes connected to the assassination, like perjury, homicide and conspiracy.
I have been hearing the same things over and over again for the most part for the past few years (except from Peter Dale Scott and Bill Simpich and a few others).
In any case, I am trying to organize a symposium in DC for next spring, after the Hawaii conclave.
And we will try to arrange for it to be live fed over the intenet and for the technology to be put into place before the event.

Hey Bill. I know JJ works SO hard at all this, and others too, and have little money, but there is free software and some quite inexpensive professional software for exactly teleconferences and broadcasting such things WELL! I have looked into them with the idea of an internet university - but they work equally well for a conference. All must be set up before - all must be checked and double checked. It not only defeats the information getting out, it cast the shadow of amateurism over the information - and sadly most Americans prefer slick look over content....I don't want it slick, I just think it needs to look professional. Certainly there are assassination and deep political interested persons who also are video and internet tech types who would help out. A conference in DC [belly of the Beast] is a good idea....good luck getting Congresspersons to attend - or even their aides - but a few might!....but they might HEAR about it and they might [in privacy] look at the presentations - especially any focused on a Grand Jury or legislation, etc. I'd also send to every Congressperson and others who can make a difference a DVD of the events - even now, one of the 'Greatest Hits of the Conferences To Date'.

Hey Peter,
I like your Internet University deal. Count me in will ya?
Maybe you can give me a hand producing the JFK Assassination Records Symposium in DC in March?
I also like the idea of producing a CD aimed at Congressmen.

Yeah, well after I lost my University teaching job because the new President didn't like my 'Politics' [I wasn't neo-fascist and corporatist]; and didn't like my two specialties and course areas (Environmental Science, and Globalization and its Economic and Environmental Consequences {done with a bottom-up anti-WB/IMF/Banksters/Corporate/Imperial approach!}, I realized the ONLY University that would hire me was me...so it best to start a University [serious one] via the Internet and gather other instructors - adding courses and subjects as we go - trying to get accreditation somehow, but without [likely] to start. I investigated the software and hardware needed. Hardware investment is not huge [a few hundred $ will get state-of-the-art. There is free software, that is OK [no bells and whistles - some of which are quite nice and useful] - and other quite cheap software with the extras. On a ONE TIME basis, I do know a company with moderately expensive software - but will give you a one time free month trial....maybe that would suit your needs! You can teach JFKology. :bandit:
As for the DVD [it won't fit on a CD - lucky if you won't need BluRay!], I'd suggest 2 to each. One with searchable and indexed documents, commission reports, news clippings and webpages, investigation reports and maybe even some pdf copies of better books on related subjects...etc. The second videos - both professionally, semi-professionally, guerrilla produced and lectures/speeches/talks/interviews etc. A few audio only, where video doesn't exist. And a few pages of printed matter that compels them to take a peek. It needs to be assembled by someone who knows how to do such a thing and make it look 'polished' and indexed; searchable, etc. :trytofly: [even the LightScribe color image and wording on the DVD and its Cover!]

I attempter to watch online and had the same frustrations. I think it went well last year as John G. was there and handled it beautifully. I was there in person as well.
Bill I think having something in DC is a great idea IF we can get Senators and Congressmen to attend and learn. Also there is still the HSCA mandate that the Justice Dept follow up. (I wondered why that never occurred under Clinton.)

Clinton is another CIA./Bankster clone......sorry to say.NO ONE destroyed labor and the economy of the average American as did Clinton - NO ONE - NOT EVEN HOOVER! NO ONE dismantled the long established laws to keep us from [some] predatory banking as did Bill the Clinton. Don't be fooled by his saxaphone or having seduced ML.
