I think there are a lot of folks in DENIAL over John Kennedy's dysfunctional double life of sex and drug experimentation. Some people just can't handle that fact that their heroes are human too and often have human foibles or gargantuan flaws. For example, you have EVELYN LINCOLN (!!) who clearly states Kennedy was subjected to SEXUAL BLACKMAIL by Lyndon Johnson and Sam Rayburn, yet these groupies of Kennedy will deny it to the high moon.
It reminds me of Bill Clinton and how the liberal media turned the other way to his hundreds of affairs, some sexual assaults, rape of Juannita Broaddrick, exposing himself to Paula Jones. Even today on this board there are still folks, despite the MOUNTAIN of evidence, who are defending wild Bill, basically calling it a "right wing" conspiracy. Nobody left today (2010) defends Clinton on the sex stuff, except some folks on this board.
(Note, in 1992, I was so incensed over 60 Minutes treatment of Clinton's Gennifer Flowers affair that I wrote them a hot letter defending the Clintons. I figured it was just one chick. Little did I know. Knowing what I know now, I am embarrassed about that; in fact 60 Minutes was covering for the Clintons and Hillary covering for wild Bill!)
Ditto Jack Kennedy. Just because Secret Service agents and CIA assets say he was an out of control sex freak, does not mean he was some sort of angel. Truly I think it is pathetic all these defenses of Kennedy for his truly indefensible and dangerous behavior.
And anyone who think this is not relevant to the JFK assassination is a fool because you are missing a soft underbelly of Jack Kennedy that his enemies used to their advantage; particularly LBJ at the 1960 Democratic convention.
Do I believe Secret Service agent Larry Newman and his stories about JFK. Yes, absolutely.
