I got on a Wikipedia internal chat board with one of their moderators over their TWA Flight 800 entry. I told him that Wikipedia had entered provably false information in the case. He told me that Wikipedia only uses "reliable sources". I argued that since those sources were saying things that were provably false they were therefore no longer "reliable" by definition. I shortly after found myself blocked from the board after the moderator kindly asked me "if there was anything else?"
That sounds about 'right' for Wikipedia. Some of it is their bound-to-fail notion that everything needs to be 'neutral'- codeword for ás the majority see a historical event', codewords for 'how the Oligarchy want it to be spun and seen'. Wiki is OK on non-controversial issues; on controversial ones, you can bet your bottom, the viewpoint will mirror that of the Government and TPTB. They even have infiltrated moderators [from who knows where] to ensure this is so. Looking up on the major assassinations and Deep Political events, I start to get sick and do not use it for any of that and don't think it can be reformed - but any Don Quixotes who want to try, are most welcome and applauded.:wavey:
Here here young Albert!
