David's in Madison, Wisconsin this week. Jim moved to Madison some time ago to be close to his grandchildren. David went to the University of Wisconsin where he
received his doctorate in physics. When he was here last fall we watched the San Diego Chargers play the Green Bay Packers together. I think it's the only time we
were on different sides (end zones) of an issue in over a decade!

I find David to be possessed of an extraordinary intellect and indomitable will. His many positive contributions to our shared work cannot be overestimated. If he truly values Jim, I hope he will consider trying to talk sense to him.
