Mr Joseph makes an interesting comment about the slow turns in Dealey Plaza, which were not neccessary IMO. When looking at the map of the motorcade trip, it is apparent that DP was not "on the way" to the Trade Mart from Love Field without "on purpose" routing. With so much time spent getting to DP, why then a "need to rush" from there to the TM? If time was a consideration, in reality the "DP slowdown" probably took almost as much extra time as a Main St straight ahead alternate route, that although prevented entrance to the Stemmons Freeway, was an otherwise direct trip for the short distance from DP to the TM.
