I first floated the "trophy room" concept as part of my first of two presentations at Jerry Rose's initial Third Decade conference in the early 90's. It's also a central plot device in Vault 2211, my original screenplay treatment (a work-in-progress).
Do I think such an abomination truly exists? Based on my understanding of human nature, I have to say yes.
I'm less certain that an unedited video of the assassination is shown to presidents. But I'd bet my house that they and others are informed -- to a limited degree -- of the Dealey Plaza reality. And I have been told on extremely good, second-hand authority that the Clintons, at a location that is familiar to everyone on DPF, offered what may or may not have been an accurate version of events to an individual who had the Kennedy family's collective ear.
