On the seventh page of searches, all identical publisher's schmoosh, we find a blast from 1988 when Philip Gray told the Old Gray Hag this and that. . . .

For many students of the events of
Nov. 22, 1963, all that really seems
clear is their ignorance, They know
they may never understand exactly
what happened that day, or why.
So, now he calls "interference"--from positions of power--the joke's been made: Allen Dulles doing the Peter Sellers Dr. Strangelove wrestling with the black leather-gloved hand's attempt to Heil.
Just what Allen W. Strangelove wants for the 50th--more, "You've shown me nothing!"
We knew from Sylvia Meagher and Mark Lane decades ago one hundred times in their first chapters what Shenon presumes to bestow in the trumpeted "new book" (24,500 mostly identical returns in a gnat's eyeblink).
And the best recent work by far, Gerald McKnight, Breach of Trust: How the Warren Commission Failed the Nation and Why, 2005.
The year Guido Giacomo Preparata gave us Conjuring Hitler.
Fifty years on and on and on and Shenon.
I posit we know. And it's too much; it must be grayed out, washed like watercolor into a national boohoo over the tragedy.
A skinned knee is a tragedy.
The rape of a nation and a subcontinent is a crime against humanity.
Here endeth the extant rant.
