TSBD Rifles
#11
It would really be something if the rifle the CIA Oswald double Ralph Yates witnessed and was killed by FBI in a mental institution over was the package of "curtain rods" Frazier witnessed. After all the package Oswald allegedly carried was too short to be a disassembled Carcano. Also, Dougherty said he didn't see anything in Oswald's hands when he arrived at work on the 22nd. It would be something if the real witnessing of the curtain rods was on the same day that Yates saw an Oswald double he had just dropped-off strolling towards the Depository. Frazier was intimidated and threatened by the Dallas Police shortly after the assassination. Who knows what he was coerced into going along with? Oswald was in pro-mode in the police station and playing his role as CIA operative. Yates said that the hitch-hiker described the object he was carrying in the brown paper wrapper as being window shades. This shows that the CIA double was describing the object as being window dressing interior decoration hardware on that day. If he did indeed carry the object into the Depository after Yates dropped him off he could very well have continued this ploy and described the package as curtain rods. This planting of the rifle could have been dangerous to FBI so they boldly stuck Yates in a sanitarium after driving him crazy with official denial. The Mauser could have served several levels of the plot and even been an alternate option rifle in this set-up scenario.

At last I'm able to identify the case officer running "Albert Doyle."

By the way, "Doyle" takes up the first two rows.
