I believe in Ed Hoffman, ( he saw two cooperating men behind the fence, one shooter) Lee Bowers ( he saw two man acting suspicious at the same place), Jean Hill,( Quote: I saw the man(the shooter behind the fence)...I do not need any Badgeman discussion, or who was Badgeman-discussion to be convinced, there was a shooter behind the fence surrounded by a team, that supported and protected him...discussions like "Oswald in the doorway" or "who was badgeman" are completely academic, putting the reader of such stuff to nowhere land...and I do not intent to go there...

Tracy, that is interesting to me that you mention Larry Harris....
I spent a lot of time with Larry in Dallas in 1983 and 1984 when I visited to work on a Masters thesis on the JFK assassination from Cambridge in England. I have family and friends in Texas and Louisiana so was able to stay. I was young - in my early twenties and academically inclined rather than being say a young investigative reporter! Paul Hoch or Mary Ferrell put me in touch with Larry - I cant recall which person, but it was one of the two - or possibly Tony Summers who got me started on the whole thing.
I spent many evenings with Larry at his small apartment discussing the case. I also contacted the Dallas Police and they assigned a liaison officer to me for 2 half days - I was told I was the first overseas graduate student to do so (I found that amazing), so I was taken up to the 6th floor, they got me in the Paine house and I was shown all around the DPD city hq. I met a number of retired DPD and about 20 people who witnessed the assassination. My thesis will form part of a book I am currently writing - when it will be published - God only knows.
But the reason for my posting is that I am happy to share thoughts on Larry's theories at the time - its hazy, but if I can add to the study it would be a pleasure. I can be contacted on patrick@pdmc.eu

The late Larry Ray Harris (who died in a mysterious car crash in 1996) was supposed to be the expert on the subject. He lived in Dallas, and even took jobs at the TSBD and as a letter carrier in Oak Cliff to help his research.

I'm not sure what you mean by "more sensible theories." As you may have seen when you signed up, defenders of the Warren Commission are not exactly welcome on this forum. Personally, though, I would be interested in hearing precisely what evidence made you change your mind about a conspiracy.

If your main criterion for consideration of JFK assassination scenarios is their sensibility, AND you accept the Warren Commission's findings, then I leave with this:
Anyone with reasonable access to JFK assassination evidence who does not conclude that he was killed by conspirators is cognitively impaired and/or complicit in the crime.
Sensible enough for you?
Mr. Collins, you will not -- repeat, NOT -- be permitted to argue the Lone Nut lie on this forum.
Tracy, you would be best served to conduct privately such a dialogue with Mr. Collins as you invite here.

Nice video, Joseph. How old was Tippit's father when you interviewed him?
There's an old Larry Ray Harris article in this newsletter about the laundry tag in the jacket. He also reveals that Westbrook and Stringer were not involved in the jacket discovery as the DPD claimed.

As I mention in my book INTO THE NIGHTMARE (p. 268),
"One of the key, previously unexplored research sources I
found was Tippit's father, Edgar Lee Tippit, whom
I interviewed at his modest home in rural Clarksville
[Texas] in December 1992, when the elder Tippit was a vigorous ninety years old
(he lived until 2006, at age one hundred and four). . . . Edgar Lee told me he
had never been interviewed before ([Dale K.] Myers wrote in
one of the footnotes in his 702-page book [WITH MALICE: LEE
