ISIS: Terror In America
#41
Curiously, the authorities have detained the individual who purchased the guns, and yet no real information has been released about his/her identity, nor how this person had occasion to transfer the weapons to this couple.

Edit: Of course, as soon as I post this, a story appears:

FBI searches home of Farook friend who bought guns

CHRIS FRANCESCANI, PETE WILLIAMS and ANDREW BLANKSTEINDec 5th 2015 4:54PM

NBC News has learned that early Saturday the FBI searched the Riverside, California home of the man authorities believe originally bought the assault rifles used in the San Bernardino shooting rampage that killed 14. During the search, neighbors say, agents cut open the garage door with blow torches, used bomb-sniffing dogs, and temporarily detained the man's father and younger brother. The man's father told NBC News Saturday afternoon that he does not know where his son is and declined further comment.

Federal officials say the two assault weapons were originally bought in 2011 and 2012 by the man, said to be a friend of Farook's, but investigators don't yet know whether Farook gave him the money upfront, or bought the guns from him later. A neighbor who witnessed the search told NBC News that the man and Farook had been close friends since childhood but appeared to have grown more distant in recent months. An FBI official said Saturday that the man is not considered a suspect in the shooting, and NBC News is not releasing his name.

Since this person of interest seems now to be a fugitive, even though he isn't a "suspect," I wonder why his picture and name wouldn't be widely published, to aid in his detention for questioning.

San Bernardino shooter was teased about beard, family lawyers say

The gunman who helped turn a San Bernardino holiday bash into a slaughterhouse had been made fun of by his co-workers for his beard, his family's lawyers claimed Friday. Syed Rizwan Farook was a devout Muslim who wore a beard for religious reasons and "usually shrugged off any jokes that were made about this facial hair," attorney David Chesley said. "He was a very isolated, introverted individual, with really no friends that we could identify" in the San Bernardino County Health Department, where he had worked for five years, the lawyers said.

Chesley and attorney Mohammad Aubershaid made the comments during a news conference aimed at slowing what they argued was a rush to judgment by the FBI and media to declare Farook and wife Tashfeen Malik terrorists. The lawyers, who represent Farook's mother, two sisters, and brother, spoke shortly after the FBI announced that the agency was investigating the mass shooting as an act of terrorism. Chesley said the family was "totally shocked" after learning that Farook and Malik had gunned-down 14 people and wounded 21 more Wednesday at the city's Inland Regional Center. The couple was later killed in a shootout with cops.

Pakistani-born Malik pledged allegiance to the leader of ISIS on Facebook just before she and her husband carried out the massacre, law enforcement sources told NBC News. The Farook family lawyers insisted, however, that they haven't seen any evidence to warrant a terrorism investigation and said the couples' kin had no idea they had supposedly become "radicalized."

Just one other thing of note in this increasingly 'strange' story. Farook was open, even public on social media about enjoying guns, target shooting, etc. This is NOT strange for a vast swath of Americans, except for small exceptions in certain areas of the country - and the odd Americans, like myself, who really don't like the idea of a generally armed [over-armed!]population [police, the first who should disarm of assault weaponry, IMHO]. Something still doesn't small right about this case they are making or inventing......but most of 'Middle America' seems to be 'buying it'. I'm sure gun sales and fear are both at all time highs.

Bomb squad inspects UPS package shipped to San Bernardino shooters' home

http://www.aol.com/article/2015/12/05/bo...1678492303

Police inspected a package at a Southern California UPS facility early Saturday after a driver recognized the address on the mailing was that of the San Bernardino shooters. The county sheriff's department bomb squad was able to determine that the item "posed no threat," after inspecting the package at the facility, San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan tweeted. The item turned out to contain "clothing," he wrote. Burguan said the package was shipped from a "reputable vendor," but authorities had isolated it out of safety.

A UPS driver had left the shipping facility to make deliveries, but later returned after realizing the address on a package was the Redlands, California, home of Syed Rizwan Farook and wife Tashfeed Malik, who fatally shot 14 people and injured 21 others Wednesday at a holiday party at San Bernardino's Inland Regional Center. UPS temporarily suspended operations at its San Bernardino facility while the investigation took place, UPS spokesman Dan Cardillo said in a statement.A UPS driver told NBC Los Angeles that the shooters' home received packages frequently every day for the last three months. Despite the terror that hit San Bernardino, a city of more than 213,000, Burguansaid on TODAY that there are no other active threats that residents should be worried about. "You cannot live your life in fear," he said, adding that "if you see something, say something, which I think people are doing right now."

********
If this activity was "scrupulously" planned, why would the shooters order clothing which would not be delivered until after their deaths?

Well, the FBI will say they were keeping up their guise as they ruthlessly planned mass murder. I also don't buy it - especially the way the crime scene was allowed to be trashed and tarnished.

But Amerika has bought into it and if you try telling them to look at the factual inconsistencies you'll be dragged out to a convenient tree and lynched. That's the dark place the US elite establishment has now brought the US to in order to save it's franchise.

It's pitiful to watch the mob mind in action.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

On another forum, someone (who was not a conspiracy theorist) wondered why the shooters stopped and left the building. If they were suicidal jihadis, why didn't they stay there and keep killing people, then had a last shootout with the police when they arrived, and died in a blaze of glory? Why leave and then only be found a short distance away hours later?

If the shooters were actually three white covert-ops guys, they would of course want to escape and collect their pay, and leave the blame for the pre-selected patsies.

One really disturbing theme I see developing (have see it developing for years now) is the new phenomenon that otherwise peaceful, law-abiding people (the patsies) can inexplicably turn overnight into radicalized mass murderers (the black ops hit men). What can anyone do about this virus that infects anyone, maybe even your own family members, your own neighbors, co-workers? Doesn't matter that you have no criminal record, no history of radical behavior.

Like the Monty Python skit where people are instantly transformed into Scotsmen by aliens, we must find a solution to this problem at once! The only solution would be to have everyone watching everyone else all the time (children reporting on adults like they did in Nazi Germany, etc).

Packages every day for the last three months? If literally true the list of vendors and products would be interesting

and the timing of the Facebook post, to me, is just so strange. Drilling into that would be interesting too.

What was Malik's height and weight ? Is the family attorney report of 90 lbs accurate? Are there witness descriptions of a shooter that match her physical description?

And yes I'm referring to others besides the witness that described three 'muscular' shooters listed in this thread earlier.

You can see her on video as her body is lying on the ground. Compared to the police standing around her body and the size of the car she does seem on the small side.
