Because of the overwhelming success of my current Youtube Channel and
its need to expand, I am taking the following action:
Over the next few months, I am going to be moving the assassination-
related videos to a new channel. I will maintain the old channel for
the speeches, historical videos, newsreels and the like.
http://www.youtube.com/GJJdude
But the new channel will be devoted ENTIRELY to the assassination.

Until I can get all of the current assassination videos over onto the
new channel, they will remain intact on the old one.
Thanks for your patience.

Gil, I need to find the documentarysource for a video clip you posted on You Tube: "Johnson wants Jackie to ride with him"
It was a clip of JFK's good friend Florida Senator George Smathers, talking about a conversation he had with JFK just before JFK went to Dallas, Smathers reports this this blockbuster nugget:
JFK: “Gee, I really hate to go to Texas. I gotta go to Texas next week and its just a pain in the rear end and I just don’t want to go, I wish I could get out of it.
George Smathers: I said “Well, what’s the problem?”
JFK: “Well, you know how Lyndon is, Johnson wants Jackie to ride with him, and all these fights were going on…. I hate to go into all that mess and I hate to go and I wish I could think of a way to get out of it.”

Well Jackie was a Texan wasn't she? And a Texas rebel would do the gentlemanly thing and not want her in the crossfire from the Grassy Knoll. Adding a flourish to the coup just to keep up the level of honor.

No, Jackie was far from a Texan. Born in NY and lived in that part of the world.
Robert: Did you get the source of that quote? I 'd be interested int that too.

Should have checked my Wikipedia first :embarassed:. She's about as far from 'Texan' as you can get. Somehow from way back I had the wrong impression 'Bouvier' was a southern french name.
