AKRON -- A former FBI agent who investigated plots to kill President
John F. Kennedy both before and after his assassination said the
government failed to heed warnings and later covered up evidence after
the shooting.
Don Adams, 87, said he's been told for decades to keep quiet about work
he did on the suspected mastermind of the assassination and
inconsistencies that point to someone other than Lee Harvey Oswald as
the gunman.
