The PDF that was floating around a few years back is useful but isn't by any means the whole thing, as Walt continued to expand and add to the chronology right up to November 2013. It's also missing the supplemental chapters, which by themselves come to many thousands of pages. The chronology is over 30,000 pages, but this is in Walt's original Word doc form, which uses an oversized text font. I shrunk it down to Garamond 9 point (or maybe 10 point, can't remember) and that brought the chronology section down to something around 6,500 pages or so. It's still massive, of course. The final chronology is split up into the four noted books, DYNASTY, DEATH, DISAPPOINTMENT and DISCOVERY.
Over the next week or so I'll post Walt's annotated contents listing (the breakdown of what is in each book and all the supplementary volumes, with Walt's comments about each), along with specific word counts so people can get a feel for which sections they might care to dig into. They're all on Kindle, as mentioned, but buying the complete set in Word doc form is maybe a better deal, and is certainly better for researchers. It's fully indexed, you can print out whichever sections you care to. and you can easily correct any typos or mispellings if you come across them. Right now I'm reading through the volume on the U-2 shootdown. It's around 300 pages long and is a fun and informative read.

It would be great if he'd offer a CD-ROM version on Amazon containing the whole thing. Many of us don't have (or want) a Kindle.

It's worth noting that you don't really need a Kindle to read Kindle ebooks, funnily enough. Amazon has a free 'Kindle for PC' or 'Kindle for Mac' software browser that lets you read ebooks on your PC, Mac, laptop or whatever, and you just sign into your Amazon membership to do so. I bought the first volume of the chronology ('Dynasty') on Amazon ebook and was able to read it ok on my laptop on the train after signing into my Amazon account. I think I still prefer the printed versions though.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
