Anyone can sit aloof and throw barbs from above.
It's another thing entirely to come down from cloud nine, stop pretending you are an all knowing poet, and engage the debate in plain English.
You wouldn't do that. You lack the courage of your convictions.
You pompous little jackass.
Nice. It's not the pot calling the kettle black by any chance is it?
Anyhow, don't you have some vital evidence about Albert for us to look at? We're not getting any younger here. Stop with the ad homs guys. And the rest of us have been waiting for your evidence too.
Patience is a virtue.
Timing is everything.
And "pompous little jackass" is precisely on-point.

My apologies, Magda. I just got home from down under a few hours before I wrote that post. My schedule was: a 1 hour drive to the Brisbane airport, 2 hours to get through security, 1.5 hours flight to Sydney, 2 hour layover, 15 hour flight from Sydney to Los Angeles, 2 hours through US Customs, 2.5 hour drive to my home in San Diego.
Not in a good mood.
The travel wasn't too bad, but this charade is.

Thank you Greg. I concur with Jan and Magda and request that the ad homs cease.
Happy Thanksgiving to those here who observe.

There is a time and a place for everything.
Why must you insist upon removing from our arsenal of rhetoric weapons that, when used properly, can have a devastating effect upon our shared enemy?
I shall do no such thing.
Arguments are to be avoided: they are always vulgar and often convincing.

Because many of us do not believe ad homs effectively add to any argument. One should be able to present evidence, argue vigorously, without concede a thing but also don't confuse advocacy with school yard bullying. But that's just me. I do not preceive anyone here AS an enemy. And if someone is shown to be a poser we have ways to remedy that.
Time for some liquid celebration. Odd to be observing Thanksgiving -happily- on the same day as the assassination. Disconcerting.

Please note for the record:
1. I've never taken to task anyone for NOT using the rhetorical devices that I utilize. Why must you attempt to chastise me for not adopting yours?
2. It's "thine."
