Bevilaqua Redux: The Return of Mr. Drinkwater
#11
Bevilaqua and I clashed more than once on the EF. Then I found out he had posted some bizarre, totally distorted information about my fiction (he claimed I'd had "books" published, when in reality I've had one novel published) on this forum. Actually, he made me seem pretty important, and credited me as being "popular."

Bevilaqua has an immature, narrow view of the conspiracy that killed JFK. He buys into the left-right paradigm completely, and is sold on "right wing extremists" being the impetus for the assassination. He mentioned the John Birch Society, Liberty Lobby, General Walker, etc. as being the masterminds. I tried to point out to him that none of these groups or individuals had the power to pull something like that off, and they certainly haven't had the power, for nearly 50 years now, to continue the coverup.

I didn't realize he had written a book. I'm sure the thrust of his arguments will echo the generic "liberal" slant of his forum posts.

Albarelli gave him a five star review?

Hmm.

Why would anyone read anything by him in the first place?

Bevilaqua is delusional.

Literally.

For years he tried to convince anyone who would listen that Frank Sturgis drove from Miami to North Providence, Rhode Island (where allegedly Bevilaqua lives and works in the computer industry) just so he could pull up in his Mercedes (of course) next to Bevilaqua's car, establish eye contact, make the thumb-and-forefinger pistol gesture, and then drive back to Florida.

This nonsense was shopped at the same time Bevilaqua was claiming that, as a child, while residing in Florida, he and his family lived next door to a safe house from which, on an evening fraught with the heart-sick love songs of cicadas and the meat fire scent of intrigue, he overheard through his bedroom window plans for the Dallas hit.

The latter, of course, is the equivalent of Woody Allen's character "Alvy Singer" claiming, in Annie Hall, that he grew up living under the Thunderbolt roller coaster on Coney Island.

The last Bevilaqua straw for me was when, on these very pages, he lied about George Michael Evica and his work.

Fiorini! Where are you when we need you, little flower?

God he's taken over the facebook page on Harvey and Lee. Saying terrible things about John Armstrong and Jack White, saying they used racist terms.
He posted something about me regarding a movie shown in Boston vs. Cambridge, that I denied a movie played somewhere. I have lived in Austin since 1990.
As if I would even remember what movie played where and when. He is such a creep. I am hoping others post on that page and take him to task.
Yes he IS "delusional". And worse. There is a reason he's been kicked off forums.
Darn, I just need to take my own advice here and BLOCK him. :dancingman:

Mr. Bevilaquas' new book'" J.F.K.-The Final Solution", is error filled with material that could have been easily checked. He has many good points in regard to the American rightwing, but overall the book is a disappointment. He "promises" further volumes. Mr. Albanellis', "A Secret Order-Investing the High Stangeness & Synchronicity in the JFK Assassination", quotes Mr. B on page 361 in regard to the rightwing Regnery Publishing Co. is dubois at best.....he alleges that Regnery was a Holocaust denying publisher. In its early days Regnery was anti-Zionist, but a Holocaust denier ? Mr. Bevilaquas; writing on page 361, which Albarelli uses in regard to Sarah McClendon is more on spot, as it is his scibblings on Gerald L.K.Smith.
