Destiny Betrayed pretty much nails the conspiracy through the Garrison end.
I think the conspiracy community has a sort of Stockholm Syndrome where it prefers to keep the discussion going rather than admit it is pretty much solved. This book is ignored in broad daylight while already disproven Lone Nut versions of its content are offered in public. The mainstream media is like a giant elephant in the room at the party that releases an occasional large manure on to guests who ignore it and party on, happy to be avoiding the "conspiracy theorists".
That is what I actually tried to do. Trace a conspiracy from the ground level, to a mid level, to an upper level and then into the Power Elite.
I then tried to provide a motive, the reversal of Kennedy's foreign policy.
Today, looking at how my last two books turned out, I very much undersold them. I should have had an agent working for me and sold them as a package deal.
They kind of got lost in the shuffle of all those bad books.
Jim, it is not my intent to jack your thread, and I'm sure you now regret your mention of Freeport in the OP of this thread.

........... General Walker's Warning: Ruby Might Talk
On October 5, 1966, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals granted Jack Ruby a new trial, citing the fact that Ruby's statements to the police shortly after the shooting should not have been admissible. The death sentence was reversed, and the venue was changed to Wichita Falls, Texas. When the sheriff of Wichita Falls arrived to transfer Ruby, he noticed that Ruby was ill and refused to move him. Ruby was taken to Parkland Hospital on December 19, 1966, and was diagnosed with pneumonia. Shortly after that, it was determined that Ruby had cancer in both lungs.
On December 28, 1966, nine days after Jack Ruby entered the hospital, General Walker wrote to Billy James Hargis and expressed his fear that Ruby might talk, and then Walker issued a warning. The information was buried in the third paragraph of a letter following a trivial discourse about a briefcase Hargis had given him, his regrets that he could not attend a function with Hargis and his family, and his libel lawsuit. The letter was discovered by the author and revealed here for the first time. Walker wrote: "Another peculiaritywith de Mohrenschildt returning to Dallas
from Haiti as Rubenstein is allegedly dying with cancer (and might talk)de M. made a front-page spread; and our informant produced his address and whom he is staying withnot good.
A warning. When Rubenstein leaves the hospital in a box (the only way he will come out), there is no further "block" to returning the blame on the right wing. The books and press will gradually pick it up again. RFK must have itit must be done, as insurance and assurancean RFK political necessity." ...

And then I recalled that my exnephew, Eddie Hooker, in New York, asked me to go in business with him. He had visited me in Colorado and was very much interested in the work I had done. I gave him a telephone call from some place in Oklahoma.
I said, "Eddie, how about it?"
He was working for Merrill Lynch at the time.
And he said, "George, I am ready. I am tired of Merrill Lynch."
Mr. JENNER. Merrill Lynch, Fenner and Beane at that time?
Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Yes. "I am tired of that Merrill Lynch, Fenner and Beane."
We formed a limited partnership together.
Mr. JENNER. And that is the partnership of Hooker and De Mohrenschildt?
Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Yes.
Mr. JENNER. And that was when--1950?
Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. Yes; I think so---1950.
Mr. JENNER. And did it last very long?
Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. It lasted, I think, 3 years.
Mr. JENNER. About 2 years?
Mr. De MOHRENSCHILDT. 2 or 3 years......

Who read Joe Dryer "in"? I doubt if it was Bush. Who else did Dryer know who might have shared that a CIA plant was traveling with Charles in April, 1963, and why would they inform Dryer if his simultaneous presence to that of his Rochester friend, Devine, was coincidental? Why was this double teaming of Charlesa
and DeMohrenschildt kept out of HSCA testimony, staff reports, and CIA documents released, to date?
It is too bad the intrepid investigative news editor at the Rochester newspaper knew from his father that
Mary Surratt....I mean, DeMohrenschildt, was such a minor character. Maybe it would be different if he had
befriended Oswald and introduced him to people in Dallas like the Paines, Admiral Bruton, Sam Ballen,
George Bouhe.....
Quote:Excerpted from Joan Mellen's book, "Our Man in Haiti" :
....In New York, Chalres met with kenaf partner, Joe Dryer. Charles had sent a limousine to the hotel to pick up Dryer and his partner, Clark Cassidy. Dryer recounts that he and Cassidy both were fond of Charles. Charles had a secretary with him, a woman who, as Dryer knew through his own intellligence connections, had been planted on Charles by CIA.
In the late 1970's, Dryer told the House Select Committee on Assassinations that Charles had "many connections" with the Central Intelligence Agency. He added that George de Mohrenschildt had "some intelligence connection," although he professed not to know with which country. It seems clear that CIA held both Clemard Joseph Charles and George de Mohrenschildt within its radar, destined for some role in Haiti's political future....
....To Dryer now, in 1963, Charles described George de Mohrenschildt as his "business associate," adding that de Mohrenschildt had an appointment with Vice President Johnson.
A generous man, Dryer supplied Clemard Joseph Charles with some useful letters of introduction, testaments to his character. ....to Senator Kenneth Keating..... to Democratic Congressman Paul Rogers of Florida.....
The 1961 article at this link includes Dryer's partner Clarke Cassidy as one of those Clemard Charles met during
his 1961 trip to NYC.: http://ufdc.ufl.edu/AA00015023/00156/17j

Peter Janney's uncle was Frank Pace, chairman of General Dynamics who enlisted law partners Roswell Gilpatric and Luce's brother-in-law, Maurice "Tex" Moore, in a trade of 16 percent of Gen. The Crown family and partner Conrad Hilton next benefitted from TFX, at the time, the most costly military contract award in the history of the world. Obama was sponsored by the Crowns and Pritzkers. So was Albert Jenner Peter Janney has preferred to write of an imaginary CIA assassination of his surrogate mother, Mary Meyer, but not a word about his Uncle Frank.

Regarding Reclaiming Parkland, did Hanks ever reply in any form or fashion or in any way acknowledge your writing? Just curious.
As an aside, in the Texas Dental Journal last year an oral surgeon conducted an interview with a now retiring oral surgeon named Jack Bolton, DDS, MSD. Dr. Bolton was in the room as an oral surgery intern when Kennedy was brought in and the interviewer asked him a few questions. In a nutshell, he answered that the obvious wound, the fatal wound, was in the right occipital region, that brain tissue was "hanging out of the back of his head"--paraphrasing now--that the neck wound was small and consistent with an entry wound, though he also said he "only noticed the obvious occipital injury". He also briefly explained that oral surgeons were always available in the trauma rooms at Parkland, as the era of seatbelts and airbags had not yet arrived, so midface trauma was common. Also, he said that gunshot wounds were "run-of-the-mill" in those days at Parkland, and he would put those emergency room docs "up against anybody"
The book Sinister Forces by Levenda makes a bold claim that he was the first to reveal the connection of the well known inventor and philosopher Arthur Young to the Assassination.
Of course Ruth Paine, who we all know was up to her neck in the plot, setup, in some way, married Arthur Young's step son Micheal Paine.
Well the connection is a physical one or outward one he doesn't really offer any evidence beyond that superficial fact that he was Ruth Paine's father in law…
I always wondered what Levenda had in mind: maybe Arthur Young was another one of Oswald's many mentors a la George de Mohrenschild, taking a part in Oswald's intensive sheepdiddong?
Or did he hypnotize or mind control Oswald?
Or more elaborately was he some kind of spiritual adviser to the assassination?
