It would be interesting to know if Banister had a conversation with Shaw before that phone call to Dean Andrews. If that happened it would make it look like they though one of their own got caught up in something and needed bailing. The provocateur controllers (may have) needed to assure the others they didn't just abandon their own.
Don Jeffries Wrote:I think Shaw, like Ferrie and Ruby, was involved at the ground level of the conspiracy. They were instructed to interact with Oswald in a particular way, much as Oswald was ordered to infiltrate what he was told was a potential plot to kill JFK. At least that's my speculation. I don't believe they were cognizant of anything more than that, and at least Ruby and Ferrie were patsies in a way themselves.
I would put the Paines in this same ground level category.
I agree. Compartmentalization keeps most of the players ignorant about the big picture. This is why Jack Ruby in his letters and interviews in jail keeps speculating about who was at the top of the whole thing and how he was trapped. Ruby was probably assured that no jury in the world would convict him, and he would be a big hero for killing Oswald.
As for 544 Camp St, I vaguely remember Posner explaining it away by saying that Oswald sometimes walked around that neighborhood, saw that address and just randomly picked it to put on his leaflets. Didn't the other leaflets have his P.O. Box wrong too? If someone is really trying to form a FPCC chapter, why would he give people fake addresses?
It is the 544 Camp Street thing that jumped out at me in Destiny Betrayed. No LN defender has satisfactorily given a plausible explanation as to why LHO would stamp that address on his FPFC flyers. Yet there is no dispute that LHO did stamp that address. Everybody agrees on that.
IMO, Garrison is the only one who has come up with a plausible reason for Oswald to have stamped that address on those flyers. It seems like a pretty important question too.
I was interested in Clinton too. But I have not yet wrapped my head around why Oswald would apply for a job there. But the 544 Camp Street address has never been addressed satisfactorily by the LN defenders. They can only avoid it. It's a real weakness in their arguments.
Guy Bannister was in that same building. It was also once the address of anti-Castro Cuban organization. Why on earth would Oswald use that address?
Marc Ellis Wrote:Why on earth would Oswald use that address?
So they could take serious responses to the leaflets and file them in the pro-Castro files at Banister's probably.
There is no LN side. As 'Destiny Betrayed' shows the conspiracy is proven. It would have been proven back then if Garrison hadn't been railroaded by the usual American right-wing bs.
Oswald never really wanted a job in Clinton. And he was not really familiar with the surroundings there.
He went up there at the behest of Shaw and Ferrie. Probably on the orders of Banister.
The pretext made to Oswald was probably to spy on the Cuban exile training camp up there with Larry Howard.
But what happened was Shaw and Ferrie had no idea that the CORE drive was ongoing. And that dozens of witnesses saw them. And they reported it to the FBI.
Therefore, they could not use it as originally planned by the higher level: to make Oswald into a mental patient.
It took only four weeks since I sent in the last corrections for it to arrive at people's doors.

"Plugged Nickel" ......Last year Freeport offered to cut the price to $1.24 if the Government would sign an irrevocable contract to buy at least two-thirds of its Nicaro ore needs from Freeport through 1978. General Services Administrator Franklin Floete turned down the offer, called on Lawyer Ira D. Beynon, 62, to clean up the Nicaro dispute. Beynon attacked the chore with vigor. Testified Freeport Sulphur's President
[B]Langbourne [B]Williams (Jr.): "Mr. Beynon began to call us names, to threaten us with congressional investigations. He said, 'You reduce [the ore price] or I'll shut this plant down. We don't need your ore. We've got all the ore we need.' " Then Freeport's [B]Williams did something that widely irritated official Washington and raised many an eyebrow in business circles. He hired an ex-FBI investigator to question Beynon's old friends and associates about his private life as far back as 1926. Beynon testified that the inquisitor asked his friends such questions as "I'd like to know how Mr. Beynon made his money." [B]Williams also checked police records on Beynon, but all he could dig up was a traffic violation. [B]Explained [B]Williams[/B]: "It's normal business practice for me to find out all I can about the man I'm dealing with." Yet he admitted that Freeport had never before hired a private eye to track a man. Tears & Profit. Last week Beynon wept openly as he told Congressmen how Freeport had pried into his personal life. Said he: "The contract under which we are buying ore from Freeport is unconscionable, and I am going to do everything I can do to remedy this situation. These kinds of deals destroy confidence." In rebuttal, Freeport argued that it had opened up the ore supply, run the Nicaro plant for the U.S. in World War II, and developed many nickel-production techniques that the Government now uses. But it also profited. Freeport has collected $13.7 million in Nicaro royalties from the Government since 1952, now gets about $3,500,000 per year. More than that, the Government last year made it possible for Freeport to get financing for a huge $119 million nickel-and-cobalt operation, abuilding at Moa Bay, Cuba, near Nicaro. The U.S. did so by signing a contract, which the committee is also investigating, to buy up to 271 million Ibs. of Freeport's Moa Bay nickel at 74¢ per Ib. and 23,835,000 lbs. of cobalt at $2 per Ib. Since then, the nickel market has suddenly softened.............

It is even more troubing than you ever suspected. I touched on it here, several years ago, but in this monring's dawn haze, I finally put it "all" together.: (Reminds me of the feeling as a kid when the surprise of a double in

How in hell could Billy Lord have fabricated this?
If the letter from Billy Lord to President Carter is reliable in the form of it I've linked to in the post above, I noticed the text of it does not include a first name of "Mr. Beamis." The FBI report, however, adds "Jim" to the name, "Beamis."
Jim Allison....Jim Beamis.... The coincidental effect is that "Gerry" Fitzgerald Bemis is disappeared for the next 34 years.

"For it is a striking fact that the law firm of Tommy Corcoran, the Washington lawyer for CATCL and [China Lobbyist] T.V. Soong, had its own links to the interlocking worlds of the China Lobby and of organized crime. His partner W.S. Youngman joined the board of U.S. Life and other insurance companies, controlled by C.V. Starr (OSS China) with the help of Philippine and other Asian capital. Youngman's fellow-directors of Starr's companies have included John S. Woodbridge of Pan Am, Francis F. Randolph of J. and W. Seligman, W. Palmer Dixon of Loeb Rhoades, Charles Edison of the postwar China Lobby, and Alfred B. Jones of the Nationalist Chinese government's registered agency, the Universal Trading Corporation. The [Senate] McClellan Committee heard that in 1950 U.S. Life [later part of AIG] (with Edison as a director) and a much smaller company (Union Casualty of New York) were allotted a major Teamsters insurance contract, after a lower bid from a larger and safer company had been rejected, [Jimmy] Hoffa was accused by a fellow trustee, testifying under oath before another committee, of intervening on behalf of US Life and Union Casualty, whose agents were Hoffa's close business associates Paul and Allen Dorfman

Arthur Holcombe and the CIA's Paul Linebarger were advisers to Chiang Kai-shek.

Dwight Owen worked 39 years for Godfrey S. Rockefeller at Crantson Print Works. His son Rob Owen became "the courier".:
WASHINGTON When Rob Owen came to Washington six years ago at the age of 28, he was searching for a mission in life and, in a sense, for an older brother as well. In Oliver L. North, he found both.
Owen, now 34, closed two days of testimony before the House and Senate committees on the Iran- contra scandal Tuesday by reading a poem to the nonplussed congressmen--a paean to North, the fired White House aide who ran the Reagan Administration's secret aid program for Nicaraguan rebels.
"I love Ollie North like a brother," he declared.
That sudden, fervent outburst in the hushed dignity of the Senate Caucus Room seemed to bring Robert W. Owen full circle. For Owen's search for a sense of mission, friends say, stems partly from the death in Vietnam of his idolized older brother Dwight, a U.S. foreign aid official, in 1967......

My analysis is that it is fortunate that there was an opportunity to install an unelected Ford and Rockefeller team
in the White House, resulting in the appointment of Bush as DCI. Who knows how much more intense the rivalry (and bloodshed) would have been if the Rockefeller Williams Bush "partnership's" appetite for intelligence related to their potential exposure from the HSCA investigation and fallout resulting from the Pike committee investigation and Rep. Otis Pike's comments related to the emergence of the intelligence community governing in place of the checks and balances framed in the Constitution, had not been whetted.

Of all the books she had the choice to be photographed holding, she selected a particularly heavy one, and it happened to be authored by Henry Hurt. Not particularly comforting to notice..

Yeah, but how did she find that book in those piles? Two posts back, I proved that author Henry Hurt's father-in-law was the brother of Freeport Sulphur's Langbourne Williams and Bush's best friend Gerry Bemiss's father Sam of Richmond, VA and Kennebunkport, ME was Williams's first cousin.

There were 180 million residents in the USA in 1960. Jock Whitney owned 80 percent of Freeport's stock shares. He grants lifelong residency on his LI estate to Bonesman Tex McCrary and McCrary's wife, Jinx. Jinx's aunt, her mother's sister, is the mother of Miss Priscilla's closest friend, Jane Macatee Davidson. McCrary's brother turned down his Bones tap, but he married D. Stewart Iglehart's (President of WR Grace) daughter.
Tex McCrary's niece, the daughter of his brother Douglas McCrary and Stewart Igelhart's (Bonesman and Tex's close friend) sister, Wendy, married CIA agent Henry Reynolds Breck in 1973. :
Quote:....Other coincidences are that in 1964, Anthony A. Lapham married Burk Bingham, cousin of Jock Whitney. Henry R. Breck was not a member of Lapham's wedding party; not unusual since Breck and Lapham had not attended prep school (Groton v. Phillips Andover) college (Harvard v. Yale) or law school together (Oxford v. Georgetown).
However, by 1973, as you can read in the article image of the wedding of Douglas A. McCrary's daughter Wendy and Henry R. Breck, Breck had become so close to Lapham that Breck is the godfather of Lapham's son, Nicholas, and Anthony Lapham is Breck's best man.
The two men did not serve in the same branch of the military and the CIA's descriptions of their careers do not overlap, up to 1973, in any way......

"The Brits were the most bloodthirsty of all," said Henry Breck, Groton '54, a CIA case officer in India in the 1960s. "Of course, if you're in a real war you must fight hard and the upper classes fight the hardest. They have the most to lose.
Henry Breck s the godfather of bonesman Lewis Lapham's grandson. Lapham's son, Anthony was best man in Breck's wedding. Anthony Lapham's wife Burks' father was bonesman Harry Payne Bingham.
Anthony A. Lapham was sponsored by bonesman David C. Acheson and then by bonesman George HW Bush.:
The incestuous connections and the unlimited private wealth and access and influence to and over political power (policy and accountability) may explain a string of these mysteries. Maybe even why Edward Thompson of Reader's Digest ran Epstein and Hurt, while the son of Thompson's father's assistant at Life Magazine and in USAAF Intel duting WWII, Maitland Eddy, ended up hiring Robert E. Webster, and why Katherine Ford informed the FBI that Marina claimed she met LHO after he breezed into Moscow as a participant in the Science Exhibition. At the center of almost all Bush "events" are Jock Whitney or Godfrey Rockefeller, both Freeport directors, both Scroll & Key, which is how I came to post in your thread here in the first place.
Harvard endowment fund invested heavily in Harken energy, propping up Alan Quasha who bought worthless Spectrum 7 from GW Bush. Godfrey's son-in-law Robert G Stone, Jr. took the criticism for the Harvard fund's violation of its own investment guidelines. Robert and Marion Rockefeller's daughter married William HG Fitzgerald's son.
Oliver W Hammond was an usher in Fitzgerald's 1943 wedding, and Ernie Byfield, Jr. was best man. Hammond was an Arab Shield director, with Jack Chrichton. Hammond, his accounting partner, George Day (they wrote the book on the oil depletion allowance) took turns with Stewart Dyckman, serving as presidents of Dallas's small Harvard club.:

Below is a thumbnail of an image file attachment. The image file is of the 1939 Citizenship Naturalization document of George A. Bouhe. It includes the names, addresses and signatures of two sponsors of Bouhe, Stewart Dyckman and Alexander Daniloff. Stewart Dyckman's parents were Willaim A. Dyckman, son of William H. and Naomi Dyckman of Orange, NJ, and Clare M. Stewart, daughter of Douglas Stewart of Ottawa, CA, and granddaughter of a Nova Scotia lumber baron from Scotland. The W.A. Dyckman house is preserved in Dallas.
I expect that Bouhe went to Dallas at the behest of Stewart Dyckman.
