Why the second floor lunch room encounter could not have happened
Jim DiEugenio Wrote:What sycophants? Where?

EF? You mean like Paul Trejo and Cliff Varnell?

Also, Holmes' is talking about the sit in of his interview with Oswald. These interviews are collected in the WR. For instance, in the Hosty/Bookhout 11/22 one, Oswald said he was on the first floor when Kennedy's motorcade passed. (p. 613) There are also the Fritz notes of the interrogation which suggest that Oswald himself said he was on the first floor. That is called corroboration.

So when you say a thousand feet away, I do not understand what you are talking about. To me that is just obfuscation.

That's completely out of context. Oswald said he was in the first floor break room. And more importantly he did not specify being outside on the landing when given the chance. The guy who says loudly "I'm a patsy" in front of an audience of witnesses is not going to hold back being on the landing when given the chance.

ROKC are dishonest liars Jim. I'm surprised a man of your ability is falling for their bullshit. The Fritz notes are in chronological order and are in Fritz's police notes shorthand. ROKC has been getting away with saying Oswald said he was "Out with Bill Shelley in front" when the commonly accepted context of the notes is Oswald very clearly said he was in the lunchroom when the officer came in - The next line says he went down to the 1st floor had lunch - The line after that says Out (as in left the building) with Bill Shelley in front. The main reason the Lovelady Shelley testimony is screwed up is because they probably saw one of the Oswald's after the shots. Maybe Roger Craig's.

To me it is more likely everyone is reading the Fritz notes wrong and he actually wrote: "Claims 2nd floor Coke when officer came in to 1st floor. - Had lunch (in lunchroom) - Out (of building) with Bill Shelley in front."

What Kamp offers is nowhere close to corroboration and is just a forced spinning of quotes towards Murphy. If you listen to what is actually being said in the Fritz Notes it puts Oswald right where Carolyn Arnold saw him at 12:24.

Do you realize, Jim, if Fritz wrote "Claims 2nd floor Coke when officer came in to 1st floor" that what you are calling "corroboration" could very well be ROKC misconstruing the shorthand context of Fritz's notes and putting literal meaning on something that did not mean what they are saying at all? This would be a pure example of ROKC's thick-headed tunnel vision and only looking for what they want to hear.

The 1000 feet was from Holmes' Commission testimony.
