The Drone Affair is a provocation, pure and simple.
Why would an advanced unmanned aircraft that routinely flies over hostile territory be designed not to self-destruct in the event of imminent mechanical failure, but rather to seek a viable landing area? Has the U.S. military suddenly become penny-wise and pound-foolish?
As is the case with all sophisticated intelligence operations, was this one intended to A) deliver false impressions of state-of-the-art technologies, and B) stand as a casus belli?
This tells us nothing about Obama other than the fact that A) he obeys orders, and B) the echoes of Dealey Plaza yet reverberate about him.

If an individual, through either his own volition or events over which he had no control, found himself taking up residence in a country undefined by flags or physical borders, he could be assured of one immediate and abiding consequence: He was on his own, and solitude and loneliness would probably be his companions unto the grave.

You can't blame the innocent, they are always guiltless. All you can do is control them or eliminate them. Innocence is a kind of insanity.
