The Dallas Conferences 2013
#21
David Healy Wrote:Peter -- did anyone with COPA, on-site, have the final program output feed sent directly to an in-line recording device on-site (backup) BEFORE the signal went to the streaming device/equipment?

I'm not privy to this, but I'm a friend of JJ, and I asked/pleaded with him to MAKE SURE it went well this year. In past years it was just OK, but not optimal [never could hear the questions, only the answers - and other problems]; and I even detailed what I know to make it better..but this, the most important year, is apparently lost! One participant/speaker emailed me that he couldn't get from COPA a copy good enough to post on Youtube...so I assume that what I've seen [sic] is what we've got [sic]! :Confusedhock::

It's still down and soon to be over. All is lost, I fear.....No Dave, I really doubt they kept a copy - and they sure didn't monitor it every now and then....they didn't do it right or even wrong...they didn't do it....sigh....

----------------------------------------------------------

....at least the Skies did cry for the fallen JFK and America.....rained on their ****ing sick 'parade' of celebration and LIES; not contrition, remembrance, nor Truth.

There is still a sickness in that city that no rain can wash away.

Only the Truth can....

....and for all of America.

Peter: etc: Yes it was sad to learn that the feed was not working. I don't know that John had anyone with the tech ability to get this done. But the entire conference was recorded and will be available by DVD. A friend called me late yesterday who tried to tune in for my presentation of John Armstrong's most recent work but alas...all he could get was "about 10 minutes of someone talking about Tippit" (Which was Joe McBride). Our presentations were quite different but it was great to be on the same panel as Joe. AND Bolden, who spoke remotely from Chicago. More later on the Dallas experience. I am in trial carried over from Wed. It was a great conference attended by about 250 from all over the world. Saw so many old friends and met some wonderful new ones. Some who will be joining us here.

Dawn

Well, glad to hear there was a recording of it for DVD, as the livefeed was NOT! Paul Zarembka [who does great 911 research] apparently called JJ and was told it was the hotel's 'server' that was the problem. That sounds like someone ****ed up royal...and either did NOT know the first thing of how to do a livefeed or allowed the NSA to tamper with the feed. On a livefeed of a political nature one uses a direct connection via a mobile phone, or other set up, direct to the Ustream or whatever it is.....its like the 30th, when the convention in the next ballroom was the Secret Service! IMO.

It was great to meet you, Dawn, and be on the same panel with you (and
with Mr. Bolden by remote) and to get the chance to have
good wide-ranging talks with you. I am sorry to hear that the feeds didn't work. But maybe
people can catch up via DVD. In person it was enjoyable to meet so many
people with a passionate involvement in the case and a wide array of
knowledge and insights. Many fine presentations. The trip to Baylor University's
impressive collection of papers of assassination researchers was
also a pleasure.
