Marie Tippit and Gary Mack

Wow. Some things require no additional comment.

Probably Gary Mack. They are likely as thick as thieves. Hard to believe that old liar is even still alive.
Someone needs to do an updated article- or even a book- on all the Mockingbirds in this case.

I nominate Jim DiEugenio for that task :-)

Someone really needs to write a comprehensive history of the media's coverage of the subject over the last 50 years. Something like Mark Lane's A CITIZEN'S DISSENT, which came out in 1968 or 69. A huge book could easily be written about the media's role in maintaining the coverup - all the TV specials, how they went after Oliver Stone, how they supported Posner, Mockingbird, etc.

Good choice. Also Russ Baker would be good especially since he came from mainstream media to begin with.

That's a great photo of McBride, Mrs Tippit, and their Dallas Police government minder...

.....when J.D. Tippit's widow Marie recently made an appearance at the Sixth Floor Museum, Joe McBride wanted was going to ask her about Carl Mather and the recent allegation that Mather met Tippit on the morning before his murder, but he was prevented from doing so by Gary Mack, the Sixth Floor traffic cop.....

Quote:the reports of Carl Mather's car a 57' Plymouth at the scene of his good friend's murder, being driven around by someone resembling Oswald, while Mather was at work at Collins Radio, is certainly intriguing evidence that must be further investigated. Thomas, as do others, make the mistake of looking first at the FBI report that mentions a red Ford, when in fact, the mechanic who gave the original information said at first it was a Plymouth, and wrote the Texas license plate number down, and traced to Mather, and it was unlikely that the mechanic would not know the difference between a Ford and a Plymouth. The red Ford is clearly a red hearing that first appears in the FBI report and is intentionally wrong in order to deflect attention from Mather, who the FBI refused to interview.

I think it's only fair to say that this version of events is disputed by Gary Mack. I make no case for the truth of either (or indeed any other) version of this event; just to say that it is disputed.

I thought I'd also add to this thread that I made my comment about Aynesworth before I read about him offering a witness in the Garrison case a job if he didn't testify.

I have much less [understatement] faith in the word and integrity vis-a-vis the Truth as represented by Larry Dunkel [his real name - Mack is his stage name from his radio days] than either McBride or Kelly - and those others in the chain of this information.

It is like saying that the Warren commissioners, CIA and FBI disputed the claims of the 'critics'. A true statement, but a misleading one.....as they all knew the 'disputed' facts (as they presented them) were not on the side of the Truth. If the statement above about McBride's intended question or potential question is true or even near the mark, Dunkel was acting to further keep the Truth hidden and confused in the fog of psywarfare....which is his primary job, as I see it.

I know what you're saying Peter. I have to say that I too have been disappointed by some of the work that Gary has done recently. Even so, we need to be careful of jumping on bandwagons and assess each situation on its own merits.

Personally, I couldn't care less what name someone uses, as long as it's consistent and there is no intent to deceive as a result of using a different name. It'd be like attacking Bruce Willis for saying "we never found out who killed Kennedy" just because his real name was Walter. McAdams is different because he goes by Paul Nolan when he wants to pretend he's not John McAdams.

The real deception is not that Mr. Dunkel uses his stage name still, but that he has a long and horrible record of covering up for the Big Lie(s) of 11/22/63 - as does the 'museum' he is an important and integral part of. His record is more than long enough for anyone with any sense and balance to make a decision as to which side of the Truth, and getting it out vs. obstructing it, Dunkel/Mack is on. Mack has a solid and soiled record....as an obstructionist for the Truth and an apologist for the fairy tale official version of events.....the details all too long to enumerate here.

I don't disagree, Peter. I visited the Sixth Floor Museum in 2000 and was surprised by some of the things that were stated as fact. I don't recall any specifics now I'm afraid, but I do remember that it was not a complete and objective record. It was WC all the way.
