Altgens 6: Case for Alteration?
#41
Mr Dragoo, your mention of Jack Ruby's response, "that's Fair Play For Cuba Committee" during the late night news conference correcting Henry Wade's statement about a Free Cuba Committee, or something similiar, is to me a reminder that Jacob "Jack Ruby" Rubenstein had to have had a specific mission. And, apparently on 11/24 he completed an assignment. Western Union just fell into place as needed, IMO.

Larry, Jim DiEugenio's three-part expose of the Ruby cover-up sold as cable "documentary" is typically thorough and damning.

As you note, Ruby was on a mission. That this is so, and that the establishment continues to conceal it, is summarized in the final three paragraphs of Part 2:

Let me conclude with another key event this show leaves out. It indicates Ruby's mindset at the time, something the show also tries to confuse. Detective Don Archer was with Ruby after he was in custody after the murder. Ruby was very nervous: "He was sweating profusely. I could hear his heart beating. He asked for one of my cigarettes. I gave him a cigarette. Finally ... the head of the Secret Service came up-and he told me that Oswald had died. This should have shocked Ruby because it would mean the death penalty ... .Instead of being shocked, he became calm, he quit sweating, his heart slowed down. I asked him if he wanted a cigarette, and he advised me he didn't smoke. I was just astonished ... I would say his life had depended on him getting Oswald." (Marrs, pgs. 423-424)

In light of Archer's assertion, it's hard to see Ruby's act as anything but a necessary silencing of Oswald. The viewers of this show are deprived of that knowledge by censorship. They are also deprived of the reasons Ruby would feel that way, which I provided in detail in Part One. But Ruby himself succinctly summarized them when he said: "They're going to find about Cuba. They're going to find out about the guns. They're going to find out about New Orleans, find about everything." (Armstrong, p. 193) If I was doing a documentary about Ruby, I would place this on screen as a closing quote. Like just about everything else in JFK: The Ruby Connection, it is nowhere to be found.

Larry Dunkel and the Sixth Floor are involved in serious, no-holds barred psychological warfare against the American public on the Kennedy case. In their brazen disregard of any journalistic integrity, their script and techniques might have been written by the likes of Allen Dulles or James Angleton.

[size=12]Els[size=12]ewhere in this Part [size=12]Jim sets out how Ruby stalked Oswald, s[size=12]et up Ca[size=12]rlin's call, the Western Union trip, how police testified Ruby did not come down the ramp, how the "conspiracy[size=12]" would have involved only the mobbed[size=12]-up Patrick Dean [size=12]tasked with [size=12]basement se[size=12]curity, how the dispat[size=12]cher identified Ruby as the anonym[size=12]ous caller warning Oswald would be shot, the two ho[size=12]rn signals at Oswald's entrance and the optimum shot, the Fritz dereliction of [size=12]point guard--in short, [size=12]that Ruby was anything but a patriotic nigh[size=12]tclub owner sparing the widow the trial.

The Mausoleum Sausage Factory makes these "documentaries" in some Riefenstahl-Goebbels studio, repeating the lies grown tedious and flat over the decades. Major Roselli of J[size=12]MWAVE/M[size=12]ONGOOSE told Jack Anderson a f[size=12]resh slant on it: Ruby was one of ours[size=12] sent to silence Oswald--and voila, Canned Roselli, floating in [size=12]Biscayne Bay.

Charles, at your 22 you pose the question again:

What is the date and time of the first known public showing of Altgens 6?

I located a transcription of Trask Pictures which seems to address this in a straight-forward rapid-fire manner:

From Richard Trask's book, Chapter 13, The AP Man:

p. 317. Ike Altgens is responsible for the first bulletin from the AP, which went out at 12:39 p.m. CST. After taking his photo Altgens ran as fast as possible to The Dallas Morning News, which was then, and is now only a few short blocks from Dealey Plaza.

"President Kennedy was shot today just as his motorcade left downtown Dallas. Mrs. Kennedy jumped up and grabbed Mr. Kennedy. She cried, Oh No!' The motorcade sped on."

p. 318
Altgens remembered that while the bulletin was being readied, "Someone grabbed my camera, removed the film and took it in to process it, because they wanted me on the telephone reporting what I saw. We did an extraordinary good job, because within 20 minutes of the assassination we had a picture rolling on the wire - and that's good. All the wires were connected together, which means they got it in Africa and London, all over the world, at the same time that people got it in the U.S. of A. It was fantastic. I saw some of the cable photos that came back in that night, and one or more of the pictures I had taken were on page one of many of the world newspapers."

The photo caption of the motorcade under fire, one of three Altgens photos sent out on the wire photo network, read: "(DN2) DALLAS, TEX, NOV 22 - KENNEDY SHOT IN DALLAS - President John f Kennedy was shot today just as his motorcade left downtown Dallas. He was taken to Parkland Hospital. Secret Service agents are looking for where the shots came from ( AP wirephoto) (cel61303 stf - jwa) 1963." The AP photo code at the sign off indicated that Carl E Linde (cel) was the caption writer, 6 indicated the day was Friday, 1303 that it was sent at 1:03 p.m.and the photo was taken by staff member James w. Altgens."

At no point was there a break in the chain of custody of Altgens camera or film. At no point was it possible for anyone to doctor the film.

I emailed the author of the blogsite to visit this thread. Awaiting response. The above excerpt may be found at this link:

The Fetzer-Cinque diversion is rendered moot & neutered if a) Altgens 6 went from shutter snap to AP wire within a tight time/custody scene; b) Billy N. Lovelady wore the plaid; c) Lee and the cheese sandwich in the lunchroom.

And, as you note, this is an A or B or C proposition: if A, or, if B, or, if C, then

Fetzer-Cinque are Moot & Neutered, war names, aliases, aka, street names, CB handles, and so on.

The pair in tandem and individually have kept their thumb on the button jamming the channel, QED provocateurs.

In the example elsewhere today I presented the three part ctka deconstruction of the dunkelganger Ruby ploy, omitting all connections of Ruby to CIA gun-running, FBI informing, Mob-DPD fixing.

Diversion and concealment displace truth and the search for same; hence the imperative to dispatch that evil pair at the earliest moment.

Fetzer tried to get around this by saying the photos didn't come out right away on the wire as Altgens assumed. He tried to use the statement of some obscure newspaper man in Wisconsin or some other place saying the photo first appeared the next morning. He claims the negatives were sent to mobile photo forgery labs in the Plaza and also by package delivery by jet to API headquarters in New York.

I assume Trask's evidence could be furthered by showing how Altgens' pictures were printed with the first Flash editions. Fetzer and Cinque tried to claim the lack of these first editions proved their theory.

In Part 1, first paragraph, the mentioned wrong placement of Jackie during the shooting is very apparent as even I, me with my limitations noticed it right away. Films from both sides, and the Altgens Photo proves the misplacement, IMO. Why anyone knowledgeable would stage a re-enactment with that very apparent error is hard for me to understand.

Mr Altgens statement as printed reads, "blood covered the whole left side of his head". I have to wonder, as I wander, if the reference is Mr Altgens' left side of JFK's head, rather than JFK's left. Considering that Mr Altgens' photo was from JFK's front, I am just curious as to which side he is actually referring to, as I don't recall any other indication of the left side being that way.
