How many wallets were found that were supposed to belong to LHO?

FBI agent Bob Barrett was also at DP [by chance I'm sure....:Ninja:] where he picked up and pocketed at least one bullet - which NEVER was entered into evidence or mentioned officially.

Farris Rookstool is present in the Amazon book review comments section as a Lone Nutter. He posts under the handle "Gman33" or something like that.

Barrett is probably doing disinformation and a third wallet was found.

The wallet "found" at 10th and Patton was first seen in Captain Westbrook's hands, probably because Westbrook brought it to the murder scene. The WFAA footage looks staged probably because it WAS staged, by Westbrook, who already understood the importance of this evidence to implicate the patsy in JFK's murder. Tippit's murder was probably pre-arranged to lead police from 10th and Patton to the Texas Theater, where "Lee Harvey Oswald" was seated in the balcony AND on the main floor.

Westbrook was the ranking DPD officer at the Tippit murder scene. The fact that no chain of evidence for the wallet was ever introduced was surely his decision, which was necessary to cover-up the fact that Westbrook brought the wallet to 10th and Patton.

Westbrook went on to become a police adviser in Saigon as the Vietnam war grew, strongly suggesting an intelligence connection that probably existed while he was still with the Dallas PD.

I'm quite sure there were at least four Oswald wallets.....like some women have pocketbooks. No man I know uses more than one active wallet - and few men own more than one - fewer still have multiple copies of the things one carries in a wallet and men don't change them to another to 'match their outfit' - I doubt even low level intel agents do [although they DO sometimes get false ID - such as Hidell]. All but one wallet was planted, and even the one that might have been on him may have had things slipped in [salted] after it was found.

There was one found a the Paine home.
There was one found at the Tippitt murder scene
There was one found in his discarded jacket.
And there was one found on him when he was arrested at the Texas Theater.

....and no one...less so a male....uses four fully 'stocked' wallets - three on the same day [even within less than a one hour period]. I'd be suspicious of all of them as fully 'real' and representing what was really in his pocket. Oswald, whatever else he may have been, was a trained intelligence agent - who would have adjusted his identity and wallet, accordingly. As he was IMHO in somewhat of a rush after the shooting in the Plaza, as he had, I believe, likely been led to believe he was penetrating an assassination plot and thus there would NOT be a killing; in his haste following pre-planned if X, then Y - he may have not double-checked his wallet for consistency in case he was arrested [which I do NOT think he anticipated] - or had part of it planted in his wallet [ID for both Oswald and Hidell, for example]. He was likely meeting his contact at the Texas Theatre and had been told he's be flown out of Dallas at RedBird [or otherwise exfiltrated out of Dallas]...but the fix was long 'in' on the patsy.....by then MONTHS in the planning. I don't believe the Oswald we saw arrested and later shot by Ruby had anything to do with the Tippit shooting. It is interesting to note, and too complex to fully flesh out here, that Plumlee, who claimed to be waiting at RedBird with a plane, was told they were waiting for one other, the description of which fit Oswald. Then he was told the person was not coming [timing consistent with Oswald[s] arrest[s] at Texas Theatre], and Plumlee claims to have then flown off to rendezvous with someone who's description matches that of Ferrie - but in [or just before] flight the plans were changed - and he claims to have returned directly to his secret Florida base where the flight had originated.

Weren't there actually two "Oswald" wallets found at the Paine's: a red wallet (CE 2003 #382) and a brown wallet (CE 2003 #114)? Assuming the wallet Westbrook planted at 10th and Patton didn't become the "arrest wallet" (as some people now believe), that makes a total of FIVE WALLETS!

Nothing strange about that!

Isn't it far more likely that there were fewer, or just 1, wallets and the DPD is just making up stories about their "provenance" as the investigation goes on? For instance, Westbrook finds Wallet A with a discarded white jacket, takes it to the Tippet murder scene and does a photo-bite to associate it with the Tippet murder (perhaps Westbrook is Croy's "unknown man?" {It is a long time and dishonorable police practice to treat certain information or evidence from a fellow officer as from an "anonymous" or "unidentified" source}. When it becomes apparent that LHO is the leading suspect in the Kennedy shooting, or even after the Warren Commission starts its work, Bentley is now the discoverer of the wallet. Either way, the wallet is safely in Fritz' hand when LHO arrives at the station. I think that it might be important to remember one bit of data from the news story there, according to the news anchor in 2013, the footage of Westbrook handling the wallet wasn't aired. The Warren Commission may not have known about this particular bit of evidentiary theatre, or figured it was irrelevant, if no one had seen it. (Remember the WC in mid-stream adds a third bullet to its theory of the assassination when it learns about the published bullet mark in the curb and televised account of James Teague's injuries)

Not likely since the multiple wallets is most-likely associated with the multiple Oswald's following their scripts for setting-up the patsy. What if Marina was fully cognizant of Oswald being a spy and perhaps thought he was a flipped double agent working for the Soviets? His leaving his wallet for her would be understood as his going in deep and possibly not coming back.

I don't think the timing is right for any wallet being found in the jacket and brought back to the Tippit scene. I think that jacket was found after (I might be wrong). Edit: Seems Westbrook was over finding the jacket. Can't find an exact time but the vicinity of 1:20 is mentioned. So maybe the timing was possible.

If Harvey was set up on the ground floor he simply had his wallet. Bentley would have confiscated this wallet upon arrest. If you read Douglass there's no doubt there were two Oswalds at the Texas Theater.
