Civil[/URL] Rights Leaders Respond To Jackie Comments...
20-09-2011, 11:21 PM
I took Jackie's comments about Dr. King in context of what was happening at the time. The FBI was trying to convince people that Dr. King was a womanizer, which was not true. They had circulated a recording purported to be of Dr. King and a woman (not his wife) having sex. It wasn't true! But apparently they created at least one believer. I found it to be ironic that she found his behavior "phony" when she and the President are alleged to have engaged in the same behavior she was judging him concerning. The comments do not change my perspective of the parties involved, especially of Jackie. What does it say about our respect for freedom of speech in this country, that she would request her words not be heard for fifty years after her death?

I'll have more to say about the book/CD package shortly.
Until then: Be prepared for operations designed to splinter the heirs to the shared missions of JFK and MLK.

If any information, whatever can be twisted, used in anyway to smear jfks presidency it will as they fight to brain wash the population,so that the majority, who now do believe the assassination was a coup a conspiracy. anything to try to change their opinion...it is a constant daily fight and has been for years, expect it, as it will continue.....

Well, the responses from friends and colleagues of MLK have been quite generous to her.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx
"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her. “I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

If she shared her thoughts about the assassination it's been edited out. I got the book and there is nothing in it, have not listened to the cds of the tapes. Will do so in the car driving to and from court. I just skimmed the book thus far looking to see if there were any thoughts on the official story. So no clue why these would be locked up so long.
Very disappointing. Dawn

the Jacqueline Tapes, beyond Gossip Dawn this was 4 months after the assassination, her recall was, very little over all,all we have is manchester's info and what she related to the w/c, perhaps with time she did recall more, if so, she chose not to speak of it, perhaps to save her sanity, her emotional well being, i do not know, jackie is embodied in the public's eye in a pink suit, splattered with blood, a stalwarth, widow who led the country through the days after the assassination, holding all together, i really do not think that many want anything to change that view abc had the tapes, whether they edited anything we more than likely will never know....and really other than further gory details of how he looked, and the appearance of him in the room at Parkland, i do not think she could tell us anything about the assassination itself, as far as how many shots, she has already told us, that it was so noisy from the motorcycles, that she thought they were the noises, she did tell us the most important info, that she was trying to hold his head together (on) at the back of his head, perhaps some could relate what they think she may have known...thanks..b
