The Magic Tonsillectomy or Armstrong's Voodoo Science?

greg r parker Wrote:lho - allegedly without tonsils gets tonsillitis in marines jan 8, 1957.

Lho swapped with "harvey" who apparently still had tonsils dec, 1958.

Oops.

Seems the real oswald had tonsils in the marines, doesn't it?

Here's a suggestion, Greg. Read the book! It's called Harvey and Lee and it's by John Armstrong. It is so obvious that you don't know what's in it.

Here are Armstrong's own words, Jim.

Quote:Lee Oswald spent two years in the Marine Corps in Japan (1957-1958), while Harvey Oswald remained stateside. When Lee returned to the U. S. in December, 1958, Russian speaking Harvey Oswald took his place. Harvey spent the next 9 months preparing for his "defection" by reading Russian newspapers, listening to Russian records, speaking the Russian language, and promoting communism. Harvey "defected" to Russia (October, 1959) while Lee Oswald remained in the U.S. working with C.I.A. operatives in southern Florida, Louisiana and Texas.

Here is the record showing LHO had tonsillitis in 1957.

Words cannot describe how ludicrous it is to have to explain to you what is in the book you are trying to criticize.

Harvey Oswald did indeed remain stateside in 1957. He was serving in the USMC in California, where he was diagnosed with tonsillitis. Lee and Harvey in early 1947 were actually stationed fairly close to one another, though their paths soon diverged. Study the Platoon 2060 diaries and the FBI reports of Allen R. Felde and you may begin to get a clue. Because of the detail of military records, the paths of the two Oswalds in the USMC can be traced with surprising detail.

If you ever decide to actually read Harvey and Lee, start at page 153 if you want to know about this period.

I am going to make every effort to ignore you from now on... but no doubt your trolls will make that difficult.

Apologies Jim, I had forgotten the usual MO is to prop up this ramshackle structure with the unverified memories of hand-picked witnesses.

Felde's memory seems about reliable as Pic's.

I also note LIFE's involvement in getting Felde's story out.

Weird how the CIA manufactured this labyrinthine plot around "Harvey and Lee", then utilized their biggest media asset - LIFE Magazine to make sure there would be evidence placed in the records of the existence of said labyrinthine plot.

Most plotters prefer not to leave clues around, let alone deliberately put them in the records.

Yes, thank you. I'm going to edit my original post so it is correct.

You STILL don't get it. There are two whole paper trails chronicling the two Oswalds in the USMC. One of those paper trails confirms Felde's statements, the other doesn't.

Read the book!

Read the book!

Two paper trails only in the minds of those who don't know how to read the documentary evidence.... as shown again and again...

To believe this, you have to believe the plotters (be they military, CIA or both) were smart enough to send the FBI to a school to collect records the day after the assassination (thus widening those "in the know") while failing to clean up their OWN documentary records.
