Proof of Concept- Z Film Alteration

I did not film any video at 48fps in Dealy Plaza. It was shot in 2005.

All shot at 18fps using wide angle, telephoto and normal I believe is the 3rd lens setting.

If I had any decent footage of the background structure (frames 280-307) on telephoto with ghost images, I would have posted it. But, the lighting at the time I captured it, was terrible.

The main reason for my venture to Dallas (2nd time filming with the B/H 414) was the Zfilm framing of the limo around the extant 313 headshot.

I figured no one could be that bad, and not keep the limo close to center frame while filming. imo

The cars I filmed were going at least 30/40 mph.

BTW,

This is what I was able to put together of the background structure (z280-307) using the telephoto setting.

It is the whole structure.

Since I used the same camera from the same position, I was able to size wide angle/normal lens footage to this.

So, what I previously supplied as the background structure while the zfilm is running within it, is pretty much the size it would be in the main frame.

I meant the clip in post #1 up there. I don't know how to draw still from that clip, though I suspect there's a way. Unfortunately your truck tracking video has no background objects,

Start at ghost image frame 296 and count the number of openings moving to your right. I count 5.

The last one runs into Jean Hill. Those last three openings as ghost images are approx the same width.

You can't get that size ghost image opening from the last 2-3 openings (right to left 7,8,9) because of the camera angle. #9 is pretty much closed.

Also, on the back side of this structure, at an angle to the Z pedestal, looking through #6 opening, there is a solid white pedestal that rises above the #6 opening.

This does not appear in any ghost image among those openings.

The 7,8 and 9 openings in this frame match the Zfilm ghost images much better than Z does.
