Speaking of polls, this one from Gallup shows JFK as the top-rated modern US president.

Some 50 years after John F. Kennedy's sole presidential term was cut short by an assassin's bullets, nearly three-quarters of Americans believe Kennedy will go down in history as an outstanding or above-average president. This is the highest retrospective rating given to any of the 11 presidents who have held office since Dwight Eisenhower. Another fifth of the public sees the slain president as average, while just 3% rank him as below average or poor.
Gotta get that official story in there.
Interesting that there was a slight dip in his approvals in early 1992, which I'm guessing was caused by all the bad press directed at Stone's film.
